Major problem is that there is no way to set favorites. Having to scroll through hundreds of channels every time is a PITA.

I make a written list of my favorite channels and also what night and time, channel my shows are on to save time. It also gives me something to do lol.

You can always give them feedback on features you want so their developers know and may add later. Roku finally added the option to change the app icons on the homescreen. That's a feature I kept putting out there and maybe others. It finally got selected.

I love Tubi- free and it has all 4 seasons of the Partridge Family!! My favorite from the 70’s !

I loved Local Now in my area, especially the morning news show. Unfortunately, this past week deep cuts were made at the local news station. The morning crew was totally scrapped, along with some other shows. Disappointed.

I know these free channels can offer entertainment but you must understand they are free because of ad delivery of course. But also data mining. But the Roku is doing that as well. If the company that did the mining was the only one who used it maybe not so bad but it gets sold. But that's also why you get a Roku TV at such a low cost.

Hello Jeff, I have a question does Starlink and also the Internet service that Amazon is fixing to launch with it being a satellite like Starlink is it true that the services the satellite will not work during bad weather like thunderstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.? I was excited about you talking concerning. Amazon will be launching their new Internet and Mobile Service but then a good friend of mine was telling me how satellites stink does not work during bad weather is this true? I sure would appreciate hearing back from you to let me know my name is Susan from Houston Texas. LocalNow doesn't appear to work for Canada. It just shows an error message when you go to the site. But the site is working if you use a VPN set to the US.

Not available on my LG smart tv apps. I use Sling and my LG tv integrates my local channels into Slings guide w/o needing an AirTv device. So I’m not buying a Roku just for this. Many of these channels are already on Sling anyway.

I wonder who these free services are catering to?? A channel dedicated to a single TV show from the 70s? Now I grew up on PBS but the days of Bert and Ernie and Mr Rodgers are over? News, news and more news??. Is anyone under 40 still watching TV?

Sesame Street has always catered to the preschool age. There's always a new group of kids for whom these shows will be new. But I do have to criticize how they call something a "channel" and only have one show on it. Especially since there's no way you're going to watch all the episodes that way.

That's why it's free it's ad supported PLUTO tubi plex all ad supported which is just a commercial break if you have paid cable channels I haven't paid for cable services in years haven't paid for any Netflix or HULU type paid prescription either too many free ad supported apps out there

Broadcast TV has ads. Most of the stuff on streaming are old shows that use to get aired during daytime on local broadcast channels.

Local Now App 400 + 100% (FAST) Free Ad supported TV streaming channels sounds too good to be true. Most political news is one sided and in many cases highly exaggerated lies. IMO.

How are these “400” live channels? They are old shows playing repeatedly. Like the Johnny Carson channel, how can that be considered live?? Or The Carol Burnett Show, or one that was showing Petticoat Junction. Sorry NOT live TV .

My guess is that they mean they're not on-demand as Netflix would be. You have to watch as it airs the way you do with broadcast TV. But it's not true live TV.
