Majority end up taking labour jobs like Tim's McDonald security guards etc. The worst job is in Magna. It's killing. You become living dead body, losing your skill, confidence.

Be careful of what you listen to. Coming as a pr from your home country is the best option because your tuition fee is slashed big time to a domestic student fee. Another point, A PR has no expiry date to work in Canada compared to a PGWP. Finally, coming as a PR from your home country, you only have 3 years left to qualify for citizenship compared to coming in as a skilled worker which usually takes longer time to become eligible for citizenship.

What students are you referring to? IMG Doctors are not students who pay tuition fees. They are skilled workers. Because of the tremendous amount of skill, IMG doctors bring to Canada, they get paid either by the Canadian Government or the hospitals in which they work. It's the other way around!

Money earned is important than time to become permanent residence. I came as skilled worker so my salary is high than immigrant PR, it takes time but still going to PR, what you earned is the best way to buy new car or house without debt.

@@Docaga1978, I get what you mean from your point of view. There are a few other cases, for example, where a PR holder has the same professional skills as you and only needs to challenge the license exam before being offered a skilled job. The only difference is you landed a job before him or her.

The speaker has a strong point. He’s not saying that if PR is your only option that you shouldn’t come to Canada, but he’s saying coming on a work permit puts you in a job in your area and avoid the likelihood of doing survival jobs

My sister is a Nepali MBBS undergraduate passout having 1year of experience working as a medical officer. ( not quite a doctor but if she gets a medical license in ca she can practice residency there.) Now the question is, she wants to go there to work, what would be the best job in medical field without a canadian medical license? Are there any PR opportunities for potential doctors ?
@IMGSecrets

To state in a simple way, the sequence is medical training, then residency and then fellowship! Getting a license will depend on the type of training and where it is from. Anyone can apply for a PR and Canada follows a point system for this!

I am trainee general surgeon from Nigeria who has always wanted to practise in Canada. I would like to ask how I can get a clinical fellow position in Canada coming from a non approved jurisdiction. Can you give a list of University Hospitals that accept/ have accepted IMG specialist doctors from West Africa/ Nigeria as Clinical fellows ? The pathway of using Canadian experience as a clinical fellow to apply for Canadian PR is so appealing. Thank you for your good efforts and God bless you and your family.

Hello sir, sounds like a pretty clever strategy. But is it possible for us to start the immigration process from home and while it's in process, we apply for work visa and come to Canada for Canadian experience?
@IMGSecrets
@IMGSecrets Жыл бұрын
Dr. Umme, you can indeed apply for permanent residency from your home country. However, it's important to note that this approach does not provide the advantage of utilizing your Canadian experience for PR. Instead, you would be subject to the traditional point-based system that Canada offers. www.IMGSecrets.com

I work for bank in Hong Kong and used over 1.5 year for jobs searching online in Canada. Finally I stopped doing this because the Employer (RBC) told me they cannot sponsor me work permit which is impossible per IRCC game playing. Previously, I believe I can get job offer then apply work permit per IRCC. However, it is impossible to do this (except those employer approved as LIMA). Those LIMA jobs are very low end work, being a Bank professionals, should it be going for a dark age? I withdraw and stay put in Hong Kong.

My general suggestion after seeing so many immigrate to Canada only to have a difficult life is that the plan should be to move as a skilled worker. @@IMGSecrets what am saying is this; I am a Medical Doctor, practising medicine for over 10years now but not a consultant (I am a senior medical officer). I intend migrating to Canada. How do I fit I to the health sector and as well get my PR? Do I have to go through the Canadian licensing exams and then do a residency training? Are the exams open to foreign trained doctors? What are the steps to get me practicing medicine in Canada even when am not a consultant? Thank you

@@ikereogban4699 I see. To work in Canada as a Doctor you have to complete residency either in your home country or in Canada! The exams are certainly open to foreign-trained doctors. Check this video about the options for IMGs without residency as to a potential option of how they can get into Canada kzbin.info/www/bejne/g6fbgoOqbLSSbdk

Dr. Garry, yes you can and complete the path to become a doctor in Canada. To do this you complete the MCCQE1 and NAC exams, become Canadian PR and apply for residency matching. www.IMGSecrets.com
