I didn't know you could get different chains for off-roading. That's good to know

How did you mount this front fender. I have problem with wires
@RHauto Жыл бұрын
You might have to reroute the wires or maybe try to tie wrap them up onto the fork clamp while you bolt it in. Hope this helps

my 2001 is getting a full engine rebuild as we speak to get her proper crispy, only 6k on her so shes clearly had a dodgy rebuild in the past. was gonna sell it but as im putting so much money into it i may aswell use it. full frame powder coating at some point too i reckon. cannot get a more fun and more reliable two stroke 125, they are brilliant
@RHauto Жыл бұрын
Na keep it and enjoy it man, it will be fresh again once its rebuilt and you won't wanna get rid of it ;) You don't see many with that low mileage too!

Love the gold chain look mate, nice vid! Btw I have a question, I'm struggling to remove the rear brake caliper on my DT and had to remove the wheel with it still being on. I can't really figure out how to remove it since it seems seized af lol. If you have some tips I'd be glad to hear them!
@RHauto Жыл бұрын
Ah ya the rear caliper always seizes up and can be a pain. When I slide the wheel back out of the swingarm say, I tap the caliper upwards off the disk with a rubber mallet. A hammer will do too but don't go mad with it lol
@mix6429 Жыл бұрын
@@RHauto I see, it wont damage my disc tho? Since my disc has like a ridge at the top idk if it will get damaged
@RHauto Жыл бұрын
@@mix6429 a bit of force is fine, just hit a solid bit of the caliper and not the brake line bolt 😝 it's not the correct way but it helps. You can use a flat head screwdriver or pry bar to lever in between the pads and disc to squeeze them back and make some room too. The ridge is just where the pad has worn down the disk, its flat when new but a little wear is normal
@mix6429 Жыл бұрын
@@RHauto I'll make sure to try the mallet tomorrow, already tried to pry the pads but didnt really work lol. Thank you for the advice!!!

@@mix6429 it'll be stiff but it should move, and ya no problem man. Any other issues just ask 🤙
