I just bought my Sport 3 and filled out the rebate form, and they told me that my serial number was not eligible. I even reached out to them by phone and email and they told me the same thing. I am very disappointed with Smith and Wesson on this.

No. You have to fill out an online form, upload picture of receipt, upload picture of box label. Wait two weeks. Kinda like the cereal box offers from back in the day.

This rebate is BS, you fill out the forms show proof of purchase and they tell you the serial number is not eligible, even though on at the store it's purchased from advertises it as if the rebate is real showing the correct gun. It's totally BS to trick people in to buying a gun.

@@mannyrivera5770 Well, they have told me the serial number is invalid, then they changed to it's already been claimed. The gun is new purchased from Scheels number confirmed with them. Upon calling S&W they can't find or confirm anything. It's about a week until the deadline and now they're closed for the holidays. I filed the paperwork 6 weeks ago so total BS stands.

So, I did this wrong. I bought the FPC and the red dot, thinking it was a rebate. They actually send you a free red dot in the mail just for buying the FPC, as opposed to cutting you a check for the cost. Just wanted to clarify this for anyone considering doing it. Now I have 2 Crossfire red dots. Guess I'll have to buy something else to put it on.
