Still beautiful! I noticed some women edges are thinned out or nonexistent even with their locs. How did you avoid that?

Pay special attention to the fragile parts of your hair. Make sure your reties aren't too tight. Never forget to oil your edges. I oil my scalp once a week or when needed but I oil my edges on days I may not have oiled my entire head - to keep them moisturized. I don't like my edges getting crazy but with "thickening" them up I'll leave them to grow out with everything else instead of doing a halfway point perimeter retie like I did in the beginning I started doing this after I had my daughter because I was anticipating horrible postpartum shedding but thankfully I was spared 😅

I’m with you on that one! 🤣 I just decided to get micro braids and just gradually transition the new growth into micro locs by retightening every couple of months. It’s a stress reliever cause I’m not constantly thinking about growth.
