@Jackson Walker But they’re unpredictable. They’re usually calm animals, but their temper can change in the blink of an eye. Also, I’m not taking this video into account, but not all shark species are very peaceful. Take the bull shark. It will swim right up to a human and attack him/her. I see where you’re coming from, but in no way are sharks always ‘peaceful’

Sharks are territorial, they can attack simply because you are in their vicinity

Programmes like this piss me off when they over-dramatasize the situation making people think that sharks are just mindless killers. Giving the cage a name like lunchbox as well. Don't get me wrong sharks are dangerous animals and need to be shown a lot of respect but they also play a massive part in the ecosystem helping keep reefs healthy. It'd be nice if more was shown about this side of them but then again it won't do as much for there ratings if they did.

@lizziesangi16023 жыл бұрын
@ James Kellogg Don't get me wrong, I'm not implying I would go down there but that's the purpose of the sonar - it can track and save. The next step is to drive the animal away by sending the sonar to its' brain - without killing it. Underwater sonar is the main reason whales and dolphins beach themselves and when those animals are autopsied, it's found their brains were bleeding or their brains were damaged by underwater sonar. Lots of these beached sealives are found in "No Sonar Zones" - laws broken by navy testing. This is the truth - Not to worry because they're testing this out on humans, first, by and through invisible frequencies that target the electric impulses in our brains - targeting behavior they're doing for AI and robots and to all existing life, as we know it. Instead of "Not Tested On Animals", it's tested on unassuming humans. And people don't believe it. AMPLEX channel has some vids on this.

Okay. i agree some of this _is_ click-bait & the danger is (i think) exaggerated in *_this_* instance. But i think the point here is that this is a method of making _everyone_ safer, including the sharks. Removal / killing off apex predators in an ecosystem does incredible damage to the system. One only has to look at returning the wolves to Yellowstone & the improvement it's made in decreasing erosion & strengthening waterways to see the truth of this. Part of solving the Climate Change issue is for us to learn to *_live_* with the other creatures who inhabit this planet. At this point, there is plenty of room (especially in the ocean) for all God's creatures. We *_must_* learn to share our spaces. Sharks can't verbalize their needs so *we* need to learn them and accommodate them for our safety. Fewer shark attacks, less demonization of them => decreases the free-for-all killing of them => stabilizes the ecosystem & allows for _us_ to enjoy nature making us more likely to fight Climate Change, which will increase the probability of our survival. That's only *_one_* path on that flow chart that arrives at mitigating Climate Change.

This is so fake I can’t 🤣😭 The shark is only curiously observing the cage, not once did it touch it or bump into it, you can clearly tell they were the ones moving it to add drama and all the cuts in the footage to make it look like it.
