It's clerestory, from 'clear' + 'story.' A clear rank of windows to let in light. Not related to celestial, ceiling, etc. (though that's a reasonable guess), but directly from clear. The predecessor words ultimately related to a bright, clear distinct sound, but the meaning was extended to include sight. The PIE was '-kele,' a shout. Of course I had to look all this up!

Hello Stephen, how should I really go about using your real time drawing videos for progress?! Should I first draw the references myself , should I first see your video and then draw, should I use timer while drawing. Should I draw along with you? I hope you can help me with this. Always supported you from the start of your journey😊!! Edit: Here a little suggestion, along with monuments and nature, it would be great (and would be kinda surprise since I have mostly seen you drawing these only) if you infuse other elements like human, mech, machines also in your real time ten minutes drawing series!! Thank you!!

I suggest you watch the video and hear any particular tips from the voiceover. Then have a go drawing preferably not seeing me draw at the same time. Otherwise you’ll be tempted to copy my moves rather than learning the creative thinking which is vital for being able to draw yourself. I have figures in my street scenes, and cars, and a few videos just on drawing cars ( and one drawing a truck), but I tend to draw what I like, which I guess is limiting. I’ll try and do another car soon. 😀
