Yesir! I honestly don't typically recommend one takes unless you want more of a raw sound which has imperfections in them which can be cool. Wu-Tang is a great example of this. It's not uncommon to hear people running out of breath, slurring words etc.. from time to time. And if you're looking more tips, just keep watching videos I've already made. Hi Cole, bro my interface goes up Max to 16bit-48Khz and the only way for me to have a decent LOW latency to record using my (compressor+autotune) in real time is setting my Fl studio sample rate to 96Khz that reduces the compressor latency to 0 and Autotune to 2ms. Is there any problem in doing that regarding to quality of my vocal?

Hey Locky, it's typically best to match the sample rate of your DAW with your audio interface to ensure there aren't any artifacts. If I were you I would make a test recording at 48khz then do another recording at 96khz and then compare the two. If there aren't any noticable artifacts in the 96khz then keep using it lol No rules only techniques 😂 ✌😎 - Cole Mize

What audio interfaces do you guys use? I'm having issues with my rodecaster duo. I'm trying to set it to where everything comes out of the headphones as if it were an audio interface similar to the scarlet audio interfaces. For some reason it's set to podcast mode and I don't know how to change it to music and recording/audio interface mode.

I use an RME Babyface for my home studio and a Presonus 24C 👉 amzn.to/49jVxAh for my mobile setup (laptop) which is an awesome budget friendly audio interface. I've had difficulties using the Rodecaster with one of my other students before. It works very different than any other audio interface that I've used.
