I love the new google design and specialy the print fuction. One thing that i would change would be to be able to print with both streetview and a map right next to it. It seems like the sizing is very close and it would be quite simple to code that on. I must say overall I must say you've done a great job. I cannot read a map!!!!!!! All those lines mean nothing to me. How do you translate what's on the map to the actual streets? How do I find anything just looking at a map? I have to read from left to right, straight across, then down a line, straight across, like reading a book. I don't know any other way! I watch people finding places, but no one will - nor has ever - explained any of it to me. I went to college for that very reason. That was a waste of time! I signed up for a map reading class, then I was handed a map to find the class. That didn't help, so I failed to go to class. I was dropped for not showing up.

I dont get why google changed one of the best things they had over other similar sites. I have used them for directions due to their segment breakdown (aside for the grand total, knowing the time & distance for each segment) as well as being able to rearrange segments. This was so useful for me! It is also much more complicated now to find businesses. Why cant they be in touch with REAL people before making STUPID changes to what WAS a good thing??????

if your using googlemaps on android how can you use your phone with gps and not incurr data charges, like for example if I want to go ruffec in france to Calais without 3g connection, can you use gps by itself..

Back then, Google Maps has much more less map data for Indonesia than today. So, it probably has no difference between main road and small road. That's probably why you were stuck. Awalnya, Google Maps masih hanya punya sangat sedikit data peta Indonesia. Sehingga mungkin belum bisa membedakan jalan utama dengan jalan kecil/jalan desa. Itulah mungkin alasan mengapa dulu terjebak.
