Get Fair About Farming goes to Parliament

On Monday January 22, 2023, our Get Fair About Farming petition was debated in Parliament. We took 49 scarecrows, to represent the 49% of fruit and veg growers who fear they'll be out of business in 12 months, according to our research. Supermarket behaviour is cited as a leading cause. It is so important to support our farmers I get my veg on a regular basis from Riverford best veg ever organic fresh and you can taste the difference I will always support our farmers to the very end the government has got to step up to the mark and stand with its farmers ❤

In France, the farmers have similar issues. However, they are currently blocking major motorways, railways, government buildings, supermarkets etc. Which approach should British farmers adopt??? The French farming unions are already in talks with the French Government.

I avoid buying fruit, vegetables, meat and fish from the supermarket. I have my weekly Riverford delivery and anything else comes from my local market, farm shop and butcher. Much better quality and more nutritious produce and I know where my money is going.

Guy, get on your tractor, block the A.38 with a load of manure & you'll get far more coverage than the under 400 views on this clip. Riverford have a farm in France. Hasn't the French agricultural road blocking culture sneaked into your Devon culture a little bit?????

I hate supermarkets so much they surely are of the devil. I pretty much only buy organic food there and if I get lucky reduced that is about to be thrown away. It's so sickning it's beyond me. Who the heck in there right mind enjoys going in a place like that?
