@@shalaemorgan can you do a video on Florida or show us how to find stuff because I've called everywhere for assistance such as rent or transportation and the only funding that is ever available is liheap electric assistance. And that's if you're lucky enough to get an application. They only except a few applications per day and then they stop taking them. What other programs are available? I've looked and called so many places over the years and always get told by every charity or program that they don't have the funding.

I don't see that here in Florida, lot of the elderly here are well off but I know that's not the case for everyone. Disabled and single parents who are take on all the responsibility of both parents really get screwed by government programs and charities. Makes me wonder if they are pocketing the money because I have never been able to get any type of assistance to help for things like rent or emergencies other than electric. I keep hearing there are all of these programs but we aren't getting the help like people who pay taxes and donate to these charities and programs are led to believe.

My son has severe autism and not even the charities who are supposed to help autistic families help. Only thing they offer is a one time rental payment for life. You can only ask and get approved once. They don't offer anything else except parenting classes. Such a scam these charities.

Thank you for the info. I am curious as to how they will work with the exonerated or inmates with Medicaid services especially assisting them with paying for rent. What will that mean for those who are released from prison for Medicaid and State assistance fraud. On the current applications they tell you that you cannot get assistance even with food stamps if you have been convicted of State Assistance fraud. I hope the new plan works out for those in need.
