Jeff, You are by far one of the leading gold prospecting educator online. I sit and watch your video's over and over, each time learning something new. The only thing I absolutely do not agree with is your weapons handling. I get that you use it as more of a prop. If you think about the extreme safety you display and preach about working in or just exploring mines you should display the same safety with your firearm. You don't want to join the Alec Baldwin club. Besides that I share so many of your videos with my friends in the hobby. Everything you teach has helped. Keep up the great work, just be safer.

This was a great video showing how easily you can obtain gold from a stream using this Keene A52 Super Sluice. I was so impressed I went and ordered this device and will be checking it out. @@DR_SOLO Jeff has a video on that exact topic. Nice video Jeff...not a bad haul from the amount of material you ran...Not a bad rig....But...You have got to get over to them Green Mountains you know...in Vermont. And see a fellow prospector named Joseph...And check out his Green Mountain Gold Trap Classifier...it is also a fluid bed unit, so yah water is involved...you will get wet! But it is not a sluice...It is a classifier with a screen on the top of it...But you only need to pull out a drawer to do a clean out, you don't need to haul out the whole rig from the water. That saves time, means you don't need to reset up to get right back into the action...And no wing nuts to find in your pan or loose when your afield...No mats to wash out ether, another time saver...And yah you still need your gold pan with you for clean out...So go on, get going ! You have two models to check out. Do a review on em...Check out Greenmountain Goldtrap here on KZbin for a sneak peak at the critters...And show some good ol' prospector hospitality to our friend Joseph. Check out his web page...maybe go on down and play in his waters with Slim. I hear your going north eventually. And have a good day Jeff. 👍.

I've got a pair of the Gold Hog boxes I bought for Alaska. I modded one to attach the other box, and run the high flow mat on top, and the low flow mat on the bottom section. Even with one box and high flow mat and flow that could clear 4" rocks, I had no problems with fine gold. Setting up the Gold Hog is the same as the Keene, but only with easier cleanouts. Hey Jeff, you want to prospect a meteor impact? Know a good one in WI. Look up Rock Elm Disturbance.
@solace67175 жыл бұрын
The sluice box designer should fix a small rare earth magnet on the side of the sluice box so you could "stick" the wingnut to it when loosened. It is bound to get lost whilst sluicing. That being said, watching you sluicing for gold makes me want to get one for some "pass time fun"
