@@albertaldaco8802 Great Question, the broker trade algorithm calculates using current prices. These moves have to be executed at the higher prices mentioned Apple at 250ish & Tesla around 450ish. The price will hopefully "Pop" up fri morning to the prices mentioned (250ish AAPL/ 450ish TSLA)= buy the put, then it should "Drop" down shortly thereafter for the quick sell at those lower prices mentioned for the profit. Before you place any trade, be sure to look at your "break even" numbers and be sure it adds up. Be prepared, not scared!

Hi Family. I got into the Tesla put as well. We haven't lost anything yet since we set the date out until December 27. It's my first play but i learned a great lesson. It had already dropped overnight to price Chris said it would drop to. So the smart move would have been take the call. He cant give every scenario in a ten minute video. I started small and I'm learning and listening. I was not greedy I remembered how you take prof. at 12 -15 %. I made $84 on the Tesla put today. It wasn’t looking good at first. I got in when Tesla hit 433 and it shot up and stayed above 440 most of the day. I thought all hope was lost and I was down in the play. After 3:00 it shot down and I looked up it was at 4.20. I immediately got out!! Thanks for the play.

To add to what Otaku said ; the further out the date of expiration , the more profit you will see because the option loses value each day closer to the expiration date of the contract. The aim is contracts with closer strike prices, that you’re willing to buy/play risk with, and further expiration dates with a decent date of time.

I can't understand why we buying a put at 405 when the price was only predicted to drop to 420. Im in UK doing US options and if have lost big time. I don't think that number really matters. He is balancing the entry cost of buying the put. As long as you buy in the range he is suggesting and ride it down you will make money. It's sniper move not meant to stay in till it gets to the 402 or 405.

Where do we learn from the beginning - like opening a trading account that is the same as @crissain’s acct, Learn all the lingo and get it right before I eff up and make a mistake like I think I did yesterday. Who can point us newbies to the orientation videos, or a call to walk us through everything. I’m certain many of us would be grateful. I’d love an email with a blue print laying out all the things newbies should do … does any of these exist? I feel like I’m treading water and missing out on opportunities. Perhaps best to wait to trade until I know wtf I’m doing!!

Alright, the only thing I am not understanding is why we are picking so so low below our actual target. For example, If it 20 and we expect to drop to 10. I thought we would want to pick 15 or so because we need it to go past our 15 for profit. Please help me to understand this part better because I don’t want to rely on being spoon fed. I want to learn the ability to do this full time in the future. I have the drive and passion. I took vacation from work this week to try it and I have never been more happy learning this and being apart of the discord

You don't wait till expiration with these plays. That is your answer as to why you can pick an out of the money option and still make money. If you wait till expiration then it will expire worthless. Learn options before you trade them with real money. You save money on entry by picking far out of the money but you have lower delta.

@@Tommyluu809my suggestion what I did was start doing cheap option trades like for 1.00 or 5.00 and you’ll see how it works over time. You really got do your own research on options, Chris is a little vague but he does sometimes make some good calls, you gotta take it with a grain.
