That was me playing Show & Tell in one of those games. You got me good! Honestly, I smiled really big when you played against me. I actually wanted your decklist, so it's like a virus :)

Personally I think it's better to go with more of a humans deck than full blown hate bears deck. Also to add containment priest for natural order and kamigawa sagas.

What am I missing? Show and Tell doesn't cast the cards, it just puts a permanent from the hand onto the battlefield. So Lavinia and Vortex shouldn't counter the permanents put into play from Show and Tell. Does Arena not handle that correctly?
@giancarlocafaro67347 ай бұрын
That permanent is usually omniscience, which then lets you cast everything for free Edit: though, as you mention, a good opponent that smells the cheese may just put atraxa out instead of omniscience
@patriciaboggs88827 ай бұрын
@giancarlocafaro6734 Yes, but he also has Vortex to shut down the lifegain of Atraxa and I think there was something to shut off enter triggers of Atraxa, etc so most of what show and tell decks do is stopped. Also can just name it so it can't be cast. I think his deck would be a pretty bad match up for almost any Show and Tell deck.

2:13 Why would Bolting his own Thalia be any good here? Can anyone explain this to me!!?!
@astrobull12747 ай бұрын
Thalia makes free spells cost 1 mana, so Roiling Vortex no longer deals 5 to the opponent. Similar nombo with Lavinia and Boromir

Livnina Stonks on Arena just went up after this video you can bet that. XD Damn she stole so many games where people just don't read her or worse read her and say "how did this Pendulum Yugioh Card get on the table? What does it do?! WHAAAAT?!?!" Lmao. Those of us with Azorius loving friends whoever kinda never needed to read her. ^_^; We know the pain.

as a Show and Tell player: thank you for this. getting tired of playing this deck
@SgtCookie1117 ай бұрын
Despite this video being named after Show and Tell, it’s not a card Crim’s _using_ , rather it’s an exhibition of a very narrow deck designed to counter the strategy. While, obviously, footage of how this deck plays against Show and Tell decks would be _preferred_ , the nature of this deck means that actual footage of Show and Tell decks is just Crim playing one of his anti-Show and Tell cards and the opponent conceding, the game from 08:19 to 09:00 being the prime example. As such, showing how this deck fares against _non_ Show and Tell decks is actually far more interesting and entertaining, even though on the surface the video appears to follow Crim’s usual habit of naming the video after a card and then not actually using that card. Thus, no analysis is necessary like it was on his last video about Vein Ripper.

How the actual hell does someone get to platinum in Timeless with almost-precon lifegain? I doubt even Scurry Oak combo is good enough. It's got to just be the numbers game, right? Like with most formats if you play enough you can probably string enough wins together to ladder up, especially at gold and below.

Show and Tell gamers are the worst. If your plan is to just win before your opponent can even play just stop playing Magic already, you're the worst. Nothing fills me with satisfaction more than the long pause while these zero-IQ gamers read the card for the first time ever and realize how bad and lame and boring they are before just picking up their cards and leaving like they ABSOLUTELY should.
