One interesting about this game is how the inside of the car can be seen in the rearview mirror, and that I think it is inside out. At 22:40, you can see JJ's rear end through the car. The Lowe's text is backwards, but you can still read it.

It’s Gilliland in the #38 as Sadler replaced Mayfield in the #19 midway through the 2006 season as Mayfield moved to the #36 Bill Davis Racing Toyota in 2007 which sadly isn’t in this game. And since you’re doing redos (something I’m gonna do on my channel one day as History Changing Fanfics with NASCAR and San Antonio Spurs Basketball), my suggestion is similar to AupAub 116’s with the 2007 Coke 600 except with Kyle Petty. Had that race been 401 laps instead of 400, he would’ve been the winner considering Mears and Yeley ran dry on the cool down lap.

Mark Martin is one of the greatest steady contenders in NASCAR history. The man had better than 50% odds to finish in the top ten at almost every track, and his average at every track (other than Kentucky) is a top 20 or better finish, with some tracks just being a straight up Top 10 or better. The man was always a contender, always a thorn in the side for every racing team out there, and gave it his all. I'm sad he never won a Daytona 500, or even a Cup series, but he certainly has everyone's respect. What a freaking legend.

Look at the lap times at 21:35. They were in the 42 seconds! The rubber banding is crazy. Also the lap times you saw while on pit road came from 12:00 when you took the lead for a moment and they all caught up

Would love some non-Daytona content, go race at old Bristol or a multiple groove like Kansas. The fact there’s 2 cars on this game really makes me want to buy it. Can you do a career with either car?

RealRadman, the reason why they rubberband at daytona, it's because you set the difficulty to legend and seems to catch up to you like professional drivers they are and have a quick rubberband on drafting, I hope you read this comment. Thanks

Picked this game back up because of your videos, so far the career mode on legend difficulty is waaaaay too easy even without upgrading my cars. Literally win every modified/truck race no matter where I start. Disappointed so far, but hoping once I get into cup the difficulty will spike.

Thunder 04 career mode is the only place in the EA franchise you won't run into that issue, maybe thunder 03 as well.

biggest difficulty spike is in the Busch series, cup series is pretty easy

Yea, I made it to the Busch series and finished 22nd at Daytona. Thought "Heck yea! Finally!", upgraded my tires to level 1 and just won my first race at Bristol. While it is more challenging, it's nothing like Thunder 03 or 04. I love both of those games and have played the career mode several times over.

The rubber banding in this game was just broken. Lap times don't matter at all. If you want the pack to catch you, run the top, they'll be there within a lap. If you want to catch up, run the bottom. Wall riding doesn't really work in this game. You can walk ride at Pocono and pick up like 2 seconds per lap, and the ai will defy physics to pass you

Why do you play in widescreen? Play in 4:3 it’s how it was meant to be played. Also makes the cars not look stretched
