The fact that these type of interviews don't get millions of views is a testament to how easy it is to get ahead of the "competition". Great questions, great answers, incredible value from this video alone, let alone the whole channel. All I can say is thank you so much for letting us in on these conversations Chris. Wish you all the best

Amazing interview. One of my favourite parts of this conversation was where Phil talks about the three key elements you need in order to build a successful business and get "sender authority": 1: Credibility - Have you done this before, have you done it recently, have you done it for someone like me and can you prove it? 2: Authenticity - Do you really care about the problem you say you are here to solve? Or are you only doing it because you are being paid? 3: Visibility - Be seen along side the right people and in the right places.

Chris, thank you for this interview. Loved it. I am grateful that you are kind to make sure we, as listeners, truly understand what happened. The recap and questions are amazing! Definitely will get the book and will follow Phil M. Jones as well.

I also love this quote by Phil "When you've done the work and things go wrong, you know how to deal with it. When you haven't done the work and things do wrong you are back to square one." This makes me think about sales. Most creatives are trying to outsource this problem, rather than do the work to learn the skill. If you don't do the work, you will always go back to square one (no sales) when the BD person doesn't hit the quota"

@@thefutur Using the magic words he mentioned in the book. I started using it in the conversation with the prospects to even framing my mails. I started with opening words and i refined it over the time to a level i understand what to be used when and all happens naturally. And i mix it with Cialdini’s 7 Principles of Persuasion to make it more impactful. This coversation and especially how to practice give more information to refine the existing knowledge. Thanks for that

jeez. "thankyou" is not "repayment of a debt" to most non narcissitic people it is just an expression of gratitude, an expression of APPRECIATION this guy sees everything as a win lose transaction .. no HEART in what he says.. no compassion.. no REALNESS just a life of LIVING a sales pitch
@simlienghoem4123 ай бұрын
the more I look at him, the more he looks like Simon Sinek.

he said we are not successful if we stay the same.. but success is NOT a chase for "success" how can one "succeed" by being stuck in a chase for something that they will never be satisfied with??? being happy doing the things we love.. being TRULY us in OUR life... doing the things we LOVE to do... having your family by you and they love us and care about us when we die.. THAT is success to me so much wage slave "be better be better be better chase the dollar chase the growth" crap in this opening segment .. he's selling HIMSELF all the way through the opening.. but there's a huge PERSONA act going on, it's coming across scripted the way he talks started to make me so disgusted by his fakeness he does to try to sell books and courses the guy sounds as sincere as a radio 1 breakfast show DJ telling us they care yeah flame me i don't care I'm one who is for REAL.. SINCERE People.. not people trying to snake dance me into a spell to get my money

32 mins in before the dude let on that "thank you" is the right time. Hard to listen to other people that love to hear themselves speak and ramble on so hard. Chris has mastered speaking and listening, this guy could take some lessons. Sound likes this guy knows when to take his leverage over people, not impressive really.

@@thefutur Chris as a host you are amazing and I was not knocking you for letting him run on. Honestly you are the only "guru" I respect. this is basically the Mormon commitment pattern, scary this guy thinks that this is a new way to manipulate people, you don't have to use exact words and leverage when the timing is natural and right. Also, he calls it a script, so robotic
