❤❤❤ I am amazed at all the people doing a card a day. They range from intricate to simple and all are gorgeous. The ability to bring these creative ideas to life is mind-boggling to me. I've never been artistic and even the thought of 31 cards in 31 days was scary for me but I'm getting there. I have learned so much just by watching these videos. And for that, I thank you all. I love composition time with Queen P. ❤And today I get TWO flower postcards! SO MUCH LOVE! ❤ ❤ ❤❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I can't decide which is my fav. Here's my lazy person's steaming tip for removing a stamp from its paper: wet both sides thoroughly, microwave for 10 seconds. Rinse and repeat if it is not ready to come off. Self-adhesive stamps will even give it up under that steam. Do not microwave stamps with FOIL/gilding on them, however. AWESOME Washi double taping tip!!

P - I have vivid memories of my papa back in the 1970s mixing sorghum molasses and cold butter on his plate and dredging a hot biscuit through it! Good memories. ❤❤ Now, about that purple postcard, gorgeous!

@@patriciarcarmichael1219 yes! And he would crumble his hot cornbread in his black-eyed peas to soak up the pot liquor and one of his favorite snacks was cornbread and cold buttermilk. Never developed the taste for buttermilk.

I so vividly remember those days! It is knowing when to get it off the plate as well as how much paint is enough...it will come I promise! Yes paper does have a lot to do with it and we love our 32 lb. Hammermill!

Hahahahahahah! I did get a kick out of that one! The "washout" paints I use are just water added to the bottle once the paint is gone--so very little paint and a LOT OF WATER.

@@Mrs_LL The raindrop effect is unpredictable but occurs as the watery paint fluid is brayered about. It depends on water to paint ratio--just muss about with it.
