@@RobertGreeneOfficial PLEASE DO A VIDEO ABOUT THE EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY TO RAISE AWARENESS! Thousands of Turkish people are under buildings waiting for help in freezing weather due to one of the biggest earthquakes; the Government left people to death; please; I’m begging share this with your followers. People are not dying due to earthquakes but dying because of not adequate help (and because of that, the government hides the number of deaths); they are still alive, screaming for help under buildings, their relatives hear their screams, but no rescuer is there to help them :( Anyone who Googles it and reads it 5 min can understand our desperation :( (note: please share the ‘’ahbap’’ organization ( this is not a government organisation but public help organization))

It's really impressive that, no matter how many times I read your books, I still find a new idea and inspiration from these videos and clips. Never thought about strategies and tactics like that... That being said, I can't stress enough the power of not reacting, "33 Strategies of War" is probably underrated book among your other work and it's on my all time favorite books row in my library for teaching me to stay clear, and not react...
@captainbruhbeard8950 Жыл бұрын
I think this principle of strategic detachment is the core of many of Robert's books. One of the things it seems that holds people back the most is a constant fight-or-flight mentality that makes it impossible either to self-reflect (since that would seem like an assault on your own identity) or to detach our instinctual reactions from our understanding of others' actions (since that seems to the panicked mind to be one step more than it can afford). It's unfortunate that humans have such an ability to consciously master our instincts, and yet so many of us live whole lives as reactive and flighty as any animal. Thank you, Robert Greene, for bringing all these things that we should unconsciously know to our conscious attention.

I was told by my father during my teenage years to read your 48 laws of power. Like any wise(sarcasm) teenager, I did not, sticking to my philosophy books. Fast forward 20 years plus life experiences, I began reading your Laws of Human Nature, using the ideas expressed to help me understand myself deeper and to play my current failed relationship to an advantageous outcome. I feel compelled to try to tell everyone about you and your literary works, and how helpful they can be. However, not everyone is ready, just as I once was not. Literally been involved in the social media argument thing, never respond never pay any mind. I let it roll over my shoulder because it’s very apparent that people project their fears and hate the life you have, they wish they could have it. Quite frankly I think it’s impossible to respond to a fool without wanting to throw one’s self into incoming traffic. I have great plans and projects for myself and can’t be bothered with unhappy people
@Geep1778 Жыл бұрын
Lately I’ve been validating and agreeing with the difficult people in my life and really clcheesing it up so they know I’m not against them in anyway. It throws them off big.. Most of my life I’d be honest to a fault and compelled to speak my point of view around these types and that just ends in back-and-forth or a fight. It’s super draining to say the least. By doing it a different way and being more agreeable it diffuses many situations and leaves these people with a lot less to say because they expect me to be one way and I’m not. It’s shocking them awake. now I actually feel like I might be getting through instead of running up against a brick wall. Robert is correct 100 percent 😁 and you really have to meet people where they’re at rather than where you are all the time. You may feel manipulative but you’re doing it w good intentions so no worries.

Takeaways: Differences between strategy and tactics Strategy involves thinking about the long-term, taking control of the situation, and making decisions that lead to progress. Tactics involve reacting to what others present and can result in a never-ending cycle of back and forth with no progress. Problems with tactical thinking People are often stuck in a "tactical hell" where they only react to what the world gives them. Tactics only involve reacting to others, not taking control of the situation. Tactical thinking can result in a never-ending cycle with no progress. Benefits of strategic thinking Raising one's mind above daily battles and thinking in longer terms. The ability to think like one of the greatest strategists in history. Avoiding "pyrrhic victories," where winning a battle costs more than losing it. Making decisions based on what is worth it and what is not.

Yes The unconscious mainstream reaction is not from the genuine awareness occurring in the moment. Strategic thinking is done best when seeing what one's already got and instead of focusing on the goal one should set the goal and focus in the purpose to bring the goal closer.

😹 It sounds fascinating to change destiny, but maybe only the grand strategists know how difficult it is to choose a new destiny. When you go above the mountain, you see the geography of it; shape it and use it for your own benefits...but 90% of the times the journey climbing up the mountain fuelled with insecurities teach you it's pointless! and you start to live a simple life... just one like you, who doesn't wish to earn billions, or get into power etc. But making a living is a must. Helping others learn something is a good thing to do. Keep up with your work.
