The reason why the plane left was because the conditions were unsafe to land at that time: the crosswind wind was throwing the plane around. I don’t know if you caught it, but the tail actually briefly hit the ground. It is standard procedure to “go around” and try again if you have the fuel to do so. They were also either going too fast or had a really strong head wind keeping lifting them up, which is why they were sort of skipping off the ground. This meant they were just wasting valuable runway length and likely did not have enough runway to stop and would have crashed into the lights at the end of the runway if they tried. This happens every day. If the pilot thinks conditions are unsafe, they won’t put their passengers in any more danger. They are trained to just try again later, or even try the next closest airport if the conditions are really horrible. If they don’t follow strict directions, they can actually get arrested!

The thing about the snow mobile the guy hit a pocket of air caused by the tree. It is extremely dangerous Becaise once you pop the bubble you get pulled in as well as burried in snow. Many people die each year from that. The tree as it feathers out prevents snow from packing in Bt it still can be high. Bt he was lucky someone there was lucky to get him out go back and watch it. I may be mistaken but look at the elephants’ tusks before it made contact w/ the back of the vehicle. Looks like it snapped a little bit of when it disengaged from the moving vehicle and little pieces of tusk are thrown everywhere. Thinking maybe it got stuck? There is definitely a difference in length before and after the engagement w/ the back of the vehicle. Hmmm 🤔
