Been very stressful these last few days, but the best thing to do now is prepare for the worst-case scenario and hope everything goes well. Everyone needs to remember that Clearing is part of the process ( including myself ) of going to uni, so no stress if thats what it comes to. Good Luck to all the other applying students out there and thank you UCAS for this video!

Hi there, You can speak with the university and see if they would be able to offer you the foundation year. They may be able to offer you the place in clearing, but you'd need to discuss that with the uni. Bethan

What about accommodation? Most unis have deadline for choosing one, so if I use clearing option, will I be able to live in a hall of residence?

i had a question, I recieved offers from the same uni, one for zoology and one for biology. I accepted zoology as a firm, and rejected biology - but if during clearing I wished to change to biology, the offer i previously rejected due to changing my mind would this be an option?

Hi, thanks for getting in touch! It would be best to get in touch with the Uni. It might be that they can change your course of choice internally. If not, it may well be a case of asking them to make your Zoology application unsuccessful, that would allow you to enter Clearing and add a new course as a Clearing choice. Contact their admissions team to find out. UCAS is currently in Embargo right now, so you will only be able to add a new Clearing choice on 8 August at 9:00AM. I don’t think so, I believe most people are going to get their results in August. So you might hear from your university before you even get your results!
