i didnt get good grades for my uni but i had another qualification that wasnt listed on my ucas and now with that ive got to my main choice now because it was worth 64 points getting me to 112 ucas points now thanks to this vid i actually know how to apply and got an answer on the phone saying that they can offer me a spot and i do meet the requirements

Hello, I'd say it would be quite similar, just a week delayed. You could also contact universities on A-level results day and try to ask them about your specific situation.

Hi, I already have my results (I'm from the Indian High School background), I called up the uni I wanted to go to, and I clearly meet thier requirements, but they said we can't gaurantee you a place (because they would need to review my ps and personal statement), untill you you submit an application through clearing. Now, I wanted them to give me an verbal offer right away, so that I could be sure I'm having an offer from this uni, considering the fact that I only have ONE chance to make it there or not. Could you please advise me on my situation?

If they want to read your application first they’re allowed to do that u can’t demand a verbal offer

Can we actually VIEW courses on clearing after the 5th of July?

You said clearing is open July 5. But results are in August. So if I have an unhappy with the uni I’m currently on offer with can I call the unis who have clearing spaces first and see if they’ll accept me and then decline my original offer. For example I have predicts grades AAA but the uni that’s provided an offer has requirements BBB. Can I call other unis from the 5th and ask for applications without declining my original offer?

Hello! Can other people also call on the candidate's behalf? Like can i call on my sister (candidate) behalf so we can contact multiple unis at once to save time? Or the candidate themselves have to call all unis?

What if you self release yourself from your offers and apply elsewhere and dont get an offer?

Then u don’t go to uni. The best thing to do is search through clearing and then call the unis up and ask if they can fit u in. After you have a verbal offer from the uni of your choice then release yourself. Hope this helps :)

Hi, i applied and got offers for criminology but ive changed my mind and want to do politics and international relations but my personal statement is on criminology. you don't need to create a new personal statement for clearing! they will simply look at your results and subjects and see if they can fit you in.
