If we use our smartphone to enter GBBC into ebird, do we also need to enter everything onto the Cornell ebird site? Or by using the ebird app on our smartphone, everything automatically transfers into Cornell’s ebird site?

Both Merlin and MyEbird are VERY difficult to use - it's hard to record a flock of birds, more than one at a feeder, etc. I feel like I am unable to record anything properly - NOT user friendly.
