He isnt making this up or giving his own predictions on the future. People are so hard on meteorologists. They can only tell you what they know. Well, honestly, I don't click on weather videos based on the picture on the front of the video so idk what to tell you all. They're just pictures, it's not telling a story. This guy said nothing that was not in the title of the video and if you watch any other weather people, they're all saying 2 snowstorms are coming. I just don't understand how coming onto someone's page just to call them out and say they're lying when they're showing you the models they are getting information from is productive. And people doing weather posts ARE ONLY LOOKING AT MODELS, so yeah, they would say the models got it wrong. Wtf?!? Would you rather he come out and just say in my opinion this or that is going to happen? They're going off of the data provided to them. It's that simple.

We are 5 days out from this potential winter storm. I believe the signal has been too strong and too consistent for this to just go poof. The Euro is usually more conservative anyway and the GFS is the Euros crazy brother but they seem to be flipped flopped. I think it will end up finding the middle ground. I expect 3-5 inches of snow for my area in Summit MS, with maybe a 6 inch pocket.

I found out that Cyclone Dikeledi had become the southernmost Category 3+ tropical cyclone in the Southern Hemisphere pretty much. At 28.9 S with 100kts winds, it was a big anomaly in the Southern Hemisphere. This is notable. One MFR forecast showed it literally becoming a Category 5/VITC/CTTI at that latitude. That will be unimaginable and the biggest anomaly in the Southern Hemisphere had it not move over Mozambique

@Jack-qi9tr I literally moved up here (Marquette county) for the snow. Everywhere else I've lived (only gets a couple inches a year) now has more snow than up here. An average winter at this point we would have at least 110 inches. We have had maybe 30 inches

This kind of setup (wave moving along a arctic boundary) on Sunday-Monday looking at history (analogs) would favor areas along and just NW of I-95. I wouldn’t trust the models on this one as they will likely trend NW right before the event likely giving some areas 3-6 inches.

I live in Benton County Arkansas in the very top Northwest corner of the state. The pink in that model was right over us so I hope that doesn't happen. We're still melting 7" of snow we got a week ago and it's been in the high 40's ° for several days. One snowstorm is enough for me! Thank you for the potential warning.

Not much likely to hit NC, realistically. Have seen a massive influx of comments from NC hoping for ice and snow, but for the sake of the homeless and the hurricane victims and their rebuilding/sheltering efforts, the storm systems are not likely to (and should not) hit NC. Some "forecasters'' are running wild with that one outlier model that is always wrong and building it up as if NC will be hammered. Those of us north of NC are praying for all of you in NC and SC and that you do not get snow and ice. These are places (in the South) that do not normally get it and cannot handle it when it comes.
