Like many I’m in the southeast and if I can’t get snow then I don’t want anything. A cold rain is so depressing. You don’t want to go anywhere or do anything except sleep.

Exactly. The 14° rainy weather isn’t worth it if it isn’t snowing in my opinion. I’d much rather be at least buikding a snowman here in Louisiana, where we rarely get any snow, that ALWAYS having to freeze with a cold rain while 50 miles to my north there 8” of snow on the ground. It maddening.

Trust me, a lot more people have their pipes protected in the south cause of the arctic dip 2 years ago. It got down to like 8 degrees here before wind chills

I'm in the Tennessee valley - north Ga. I think we miss out on this Snow. Looks to me like the Strom track will be too far south. Suppressed from the extreme cold. Hopefully I'm wrong and the trends tick north....

Its always good to have an open mind about these things. Let the models quibble for now and eventually they will start to agree. I find for me, its always best to have 0 expectations before the agreement because atleast in my experience there is 0 let down with no expectations

I’m from Michigan the thumb how much snow coming to towards us on Saturday I’m hearing 5-8 inches is that possible yet we only get 1-2 maybe 3 inches we want a lot more snow snow snow

Your right I should have gone over that with more detail most of south western and western Michigan should get 4-7 inches bewteen now and the 22nd with higher amounts possible east of Traverse city potentially picking up close to a foot or more

@@evanfryberger We got 3 days of ice, sleet and snow back in the early 80s when nothing was predicted. A roar woke me up at daybreak and sleet was pouring down so hard that we got over 3 inches before the snow started. No school! My friends came over and made sleds out of toilet tank lids and car tire ramps and slid down the long steep hills in my uncle`s cow pasture.

First part of video on this coming weekend borders on misinformation. Your map and brief explanation is not following the trends on the 12Z runs for the Mid-Atlantic for Sunday into Monday. The CMC has had the right idea all along as the GFS was jumping any low that forms on the arctic front too far east as it often has done in the past with these kinds of situations. Even the NWS has capsulated now using the term "likely" for snow Sunday for my area which is north central MD.
