I have a condor plate carrier thats atleast 15 years old and has frayed in spots due to wear and tear but has never broken ... they have good camo patterns and for the price you cant beat it .. way better than amazon knock offs that are crappy as can be , and the mag pouches are unbreakable in my opinion... love the content brother

Hi Michael. It's getting very real now.

Physical fitness has to be a top priority. If you gas out sprinting 50 yards wearing 40lbs of gear, you are not in shape.

I've had a $500 Eberlestock pack fall apart after not much use. Condor has made vast improvements in quality over the years. Moral of the story is pick and choose the items that certain brands do well at a good value and put ego aside when it comes to branding. If it works, use it. Also be reasonable about expectations. Do you NEED the more expensive gear or is the cheaper stuff good enough to do the job at hand for the amount of time you expect to need it? I have Condor stuff and I have really high end stuff, the trick is to know when you need to spend the extra money and when you don't. If I can buy the Condor pouch instead of the gucci pouch, that frees up money to go towards something else. Be smart and practical and remember that in many cases 2 minutes with a sewing machine can turn a budget item into the same strength as a top tier item at a fraction of the price

I really try to follow this line of thinking.

If you had a sewing machine and tegris you technically don't even need to buy anything. But sewing is easier said than done, but you CAN get a Juki for 1000$

Great video Michael. Love the approach and concept of trg with proper kit each time, in the proper environment. There's quite a difference in the range to the bush.... Thanks for sharing. God Bless and Cheers from Alberta!

I have alot of condor gear, its just as good as expensive stuff. And with the cheaper prices i dont feel bad spray painting stuff. I cant justify spending $400 on a chest rig, i have half that into a full condor kit. Id trust it going into theater combat.

Jesse I've been in combat and there are Condor items that can be used, I would not use a plate carrier from them because there are just some things to pay the price for. The reality is .0002% can save your ass in a violent situation, as in something that causes you to move 1 moment faster than the person across the way trying to kill you. This is why during selection processes for certain jobs the difference between being selected or not can be a few thousands of a point. The reason why is those minute things can be the difference between someone's life or death. If Condor is what you have it's way better than nothing and you can always dump less quality stuff when you come across better stuff. I do understand that we all don't have the ability and don't need to have the best of the best. I buy allot of molle USGI pouches off of Ebay because it's built well though not usually light. Good luck and thank you for being a patriot ^5 :o)

Nothing wrong with Condor gear. I wore one of their plate carriers in Afghanistan for a year, 6 days a week 13 hours a day. No problems.

Please tell Condor to start using real m81 woodland fabric for gear, they wouldn't be able to keep it in stock IF it's priced correctly lol. Not the off color copies of m81 lol the real cordura nylon, or at least something as tough as cordura, but correct colors matter for this. 🤣

Yeah all of the Condor equipment is only for Airsoft stuff is pretty outdated. There was an interview with one of the marketing guys at SHOT show this year where they basically explained they've been transitioning into non-air soft quality gear for a couple years now and they're rolling out a lot of really good products it looks like. I have a chest rig by condor, a plate carrier I think it's their MOPC gen 2, a bunch of magazine holders or pouches as well as miscellaneous GP pouches, a 28 L sling bag, as well as one of their LCS gun belts and their stuff's pretty solid I think. I've been carrying around that silly sling bag that I bought from them for about 4 years now loaded with about 10 to 12 lb of gear on a regular basis as my everyday carry bag goes in and out of my car everywhere I go I think solid it's not even fraying or anything. I also branched out a couple years ago when I got some extra money and started buying some stuff from tacticon armaments which is a pretty good company I think and they sell some pretty affordable gear and if you catch one of their sales which them and every company in this market except for the big brand names are doing practically every two weeks to every month, you can usually get like 25 to 50% off of their gear on a regular basis. And tacticon Armament said something very similar to what the president and CEO of Palmetto State Armory said not too long ago at a shot show interview, these companies are all making their gear for the most part outside of the country except you know if they say made in America but even then, I've worked for manufacturing companies for two decades, and they can get stuff made outside of the country and assemble It in America and still say made in America on the tags or the labels call Ma but what the PSA CEO said was at least in his case we sell direct we don't have middlemen that's how we're able to sell quality weapons and gear but he also stated that a lot of these companies are basically selling their brand name and putting a premium on that brand name when it's not always justifiable. Jake the owner over a tactic on Armament said basically the same thing not too long ago that people are buying brand name gear and they're paying for a brand when in some cases it's the same factories in the same Southeast Asian countries that are making their stuff that are making the tactic on ornament gear or the machine aluminum parts for modifications to ARS or whatever and there's not a lot of quality difference. Another reason I recommend tactical and Armament is the amount of gear that they sell and the quality for the price you are paying but I also enjoyed the 2A Pro podcast that the owner and one of his employees do were they regularly roast Lucas Bodkin from T-Rex arms and just generally make fun of his snooty uppity attitude in the gun world. You made me think of this when you were commenting in the video on speed versus accuracy because that guy is just a clown when it comes to posting videos of his tactical obstacle course Speed Run training scenarios. He's also another guy that makes fun of people for running poverty Pony rifles and just in general the pores because he rocks a 3500 are out of many in his collection I'm sure and his General attitude is if you're not running a rifle or equipment to cost you thousands of dollars it's automatically immediately going to fail when you needed to work and you're stupid. That's another reason why Lucas is a clown
