G'day Mark. Another excellent review. I enjoy your knowledge....& of the course the humour you put in too. The sting versus zing. Spot on. New blade in razor? Quarter turn or an eighth turn? Each blade's different isn't it. Just goes to show that no matter how much experience one has we're always, ALWAYS learning in this shaving hobby/rabbit hole. About to have my 2 day growth shave with a new Feather in a Henson so hopefully no nicks or gouges. The new PAA? I'll be watching in the early Saturday hours here (Melbourne time) for the release & quick order in hope of getting that 'holo' label. Keep 'em going Mark.

That razor looks interesting. I love that blade (near Feather sharp but much smoother). I find it works best in one of my adjustable razors at a mid to low setting. Thanks for another fine video.

PAA shave soaps create gobs of lather. I dont think this scent would be for me. However, I do enjoy PAA products. That razor has captured my attention. If you don't open up the adjustment at all, how mild is it?

The Ascension Select, with the blade gap closed all the way, in my opinion, is about the same mildness as a DE89 or R89. At least it impresses me as being in that ballpark.:)
