Agreed with the other commentators that this seems a fairly high price given that it looks like you would have to replace the roof, waterproof the terrace, move/remove the unsightly dish, abate the black mold in the upstairs bedroom as well as repair any damage to the plastering and repaint. I also don’t like that the only bathroom is within one of the bedrooms, so that anyone having to use it in the middle of the night would have to walk through someone else’s bedroom. So add the expense on blocking off and plumbing another bathroom on the upper floor, but where? Or you lose the bedroom on the same floor as the kitchen, turning it into a lounge so the bathroom is accessible. It IS very nice though, especially the wall tiles in the kitchen!

It would have been nice to see inside the garage. So the only bathroom/toilet was on the 1st floor and the shower was in the cantina? Not only would I want to reconfigure that small bath to add a shower but also putting a bathroom on the 2nd floor with those 2 additional bedrooms would be ideal. I think the roof would definitely need to be redone to insure that the terrace was waterproofed and there were no leaking areas. Overall I think this was another nice find!! Cheers!

Nice property however for that price I want a complete bath with shower without having to do renovations.

You pronounce aluminium correctly ❤😊🇦🇺

I know that it is close to the beaches. However it seems a bit overpriced to me considering all the work that needs to be done and questionable condition of the roof.

I can see the source of the water intrusion on the terrace: a gutter with no downspout, the water is collecting and then running down and pooling in the corner of the terrace. That area will need to be rebuilt, and it will need proper guttering to move the water away from the terrace. Decent property, though, needs a bit of work. I wonder if the cantina and the garage connect under the house somewhere?

Nice place but all things considered, it does need work + new roof. I too am disappointed with price & feel they likely will have to drop to €20 or more, especially because so much work to make beautiful... but potential absolutely in this larger size home! 1) Love cantina: making it a functional area w/small bathroom would be smart & maybe used as nice office/den area. Would remove cantina plaster to expose brick stonework. 2) Believe counted 10windows w shutters- all really do need 2B replaced. 3) Absolutely~ bedroom across kitchen becomes living room area for relax & TV. For beauty, could remove all or most the plaster in this room & kitchen too, Would create stunning atmosphere that we foreigners, absolutely love! Yes enlarge its bath w/shower. 4) Interior needs paint & all door jams need 2B replaced as currently painted a high gloss black or deep green & can see layers of paint over time. Not appealing as is. 5)Biggest problem is bedroom w water damage/mold & it surrounds almost entire ceiling- its plaster MUST be pulled out and maybe even more work (?)to hopefully rid the mold... but it can be done. Bit of costly job. The flip side, is room would be restored to natural stone & would be stunning bedroom! . 6) Kitchen do-able, but quite dated & full redo is best option for most. 7) Love terrace~ needs outdoor re-do... mostly paint, maybe floor(?) & with potted plants (maybe w/ veggies); tho would spk w architect re weight & safety. Potentially great place to gather..... lastly THIS home has lot of work to make it very nice... but absolutely could be worth it IF price has at least a 20k drop. I do miss a fireplace as seen in most of these old homes- maybe my eyes became distracted & it’s there in kitchen; maybe waiting to be exposed!

If the price included all taxes & fees (including notary, translation, etc…), it’d be a good deal.

There's a lot to like but for the number of headaches the new owner has to sort...I think this might be one of your future "price reduced!" videos ;)

Regarding the garage, the Fiat 500 is allegedly 149 cm tall, so . . . . 👍🏼

How does someone in a wheelchair or physically challenged manage all those stairs? You have to be in great physical shape to live in this house.

How ridiculous to correct your pronunciation of aluminum. They certainly knew what you meant. You are dealing with people from MANY countries who pronounce many words differently. Who cares. I'm from the US and my mother, also from the US, pronounced it the way you do. I don't , but did I know what she was talking about? Certainly.

what is wrong with these italian architects??? they just refuse to acknowledge the notion that is the ground floor? why do you have to go up a set of stairs to get to the kitchen and living area? I love your channel but the more of these homes you tour the more obvious it becomes that the staircase is the focal point of these homes. cantina has the highest priority in design that it occupies the most accessible part of the house, its nuts As an architect with a decade of experience, I'd steer clear of this one or the ones alike unless you plan on just keeping the exterior walls and fully rebuild the insides which you should be able to do with a lot less than 60K

Many of these properties are hundreds and hundreds of years old, so you really need to consider the concept of time and imagine what life was like centuries ago to attempt to understand why they made certain decisions when building. I guess future generations in 200 or 300 years would be talking about the crazy, silly decisions we made today. It's all about context!
