Like everyone else, Midwest Magic Cleaning sent me here through Recommended. You're doing a wonderful, selfless thing and don't let people 's criticism stop you! Their criticism speaks more about them than about you. My favorite cleaning supplies are baking soda, dish soap and white vinegar. In the future, try attacking a dirty bathtub with dish soap with a layer of baking soda and see if it does something! I also recommend getting a scraper of sorts to help with stuck on stains!

You NEVER EVER judge those who you help and that's what makes them feel comfortable reaching out to you. You understand they have a mental illness and, that some of them have a physical disability and can't clean their apartments. You understand depression because you've been there so, please, please, please, don't pay attention to any negative comments. There are always people who are going to hate, who will tell you they would have done things differently. They are keyboard warriors and aren't worth your time or energy. And there are those who say that the people you help should be put into care homes like one woman did on the video when you cleaned this woman's living room and she is 100% dead wrong. Someone who is depressed doesn't need to live in a care home because that would probably make them even more depressed than they already are! What they need is medication, therapy and Angels like you to come into their lives and help them to clear their minds and get order back into their lives. Anyone who ever says anything negative about you and the amazing work you do doesn't know you, doesn't know your goodness, your light, your energy and your love. Keep doing EXACTLY what you are doing and EXACTLY how you are doing it. You are a remarkable young woman and you change peoples lives Barbie!

For the bathtub, barkeeper's friend and dish detergent like dawn with an abrasive sponge works so amazing 🤩. I use them on my tub and it works incredibly! Thank you for sharing your story ❤. I love your channel Barbie! I love that you and other channels help people who need it. Depression and mental health is horrible, you are just surviving. You are exhausted all the time. By you cleaning can help them feel better! For my tub I use Dawn and Vinegar. The dawn cuts the grease And the vinger helps with mold and limescale. For the stained sink you could try bleach and let it sit and see if that works. I think a collaboration with The midwest cleaner would be excellent. You both should see if you can get a cleaning sponsor maybe scrub daddy? Then you could see each other. The world needs more kind people like you.

I've cleaned some similar dirty tubs, I used toilet bowl cleaner, it ate right through the grease and grime, I let it sit for about 10mins and used a tub/wall scrubber, works amazingly. Haters will always critique, you will never see them being brave and doing what you do but it's real easy for them to talk crap online. You are doing great, keep up the awesome work, you have a big heart

I remember cleaning my cousin’s tub 🛀🏿 ( she has 7 kids 😮) & when I tell you that her tub was like that but you know what I used??? I used Clorox Toiletbowl Cleaner Clinging Bleach Gel (I had to use 2 bottles) . As a matter of fact, I used it all on the walls, sink , tub & floor (tile ceramic)… Word of caution ⚠️, it’s strong scent , so let it sit (30 mins -1hr) and turn the air vents on… Trust, it’ll save you a lot of elbow work 😂😂😂….

I watch several people who donate their time to help people who are struggling. Midwest Magic, Aurikatariina in Finland, Blade Mate in Australia does yardwork, there is a guy who power washes patios and stone walls. I have always loved to clean nd wish I could still do it. I clean residential homes part time and I will usually use soft scrub to clean bath tubs and the bath tile but what you’re using is working too. I think you do a very good job and your helping people that need your help. ❤️

For the bath tub I would have used bleach and dawn dish detergent. Along with the scraper I would have removed the caulking and replaced due to the dirt. I definitely would not clean anything in that bathroom without gloves. I don't care if I was wiping down a cleaned area. You did an awesome job. I'm sure she really appreciates you. ❤❤

I saw on a show with a tub like that they filled up the tub with water and let it soak overnight with biological laundry power mixed in it. The next day it came right off. Good job you did for this lady!!

There should not be anyone "hating" on this channel. First off all the cleaning channels are doing a genuine good service to people in need. Furthermore they're all cleaning different types of homes. Barbie is the only one I'm seeing who is working in what is clearly public housing. These are people who are not only suffering from physical and/or mental distress, but financial as well. For the dirt and grass on the tub I will use oven cleaner and for the mold on the silicon around, just cover It with paper toilet and soak It with pure bleach and let do its thing for a while. Repeat if neccesary. You will see It removes quite a lot, It makes a big difference

You never know what hardships people are going through, you helping them may even give them hope to go on when they were feeling so overwhelmed that they were contemplating ending things. In use Easy Off for tubs too ! It’s great! I used to use it in overnight rentals to swiftly clean the tubs while I made beds . It was so much easier! Another great thing is to fill the tub with hot water and throw in dishwasher packs . Then I give it a good stir . It would also deep clean the jacuzzi’s. Hardly any effort on my part once I figure this out . ❤

Hi Barbie. Love your videos ❤. I would’ve used tar and asphalt remover, that is usually used on cars, for the bathtub. My friend who has a cleaning company taught me that secret. It removes grease like magic. Lots of love from sweden ❤

I have learned so much by watching your videos. One thing is the types of cleaning products that are most effective. Very interesting for me to realize that oven cleaning products are also effective in other areas of my home😊. I never would have thought to try. I will add a hint of my own though. When trying to clean mold on surfaces, bleach only changes the color of it. Cleaning Vinegar or Hydrogen Peroxide will actually kill the mold.

Barbie, don't worry about it! Nothing is original in the KZbin world. Everyone was inspired by AT LEAST one thing or more. I believe the other cleaners were also inspired by something (someone) in their life. You've been wonderful and you're so patient and hard working. I believe you are a wonderful mother too because you said you only do this free cleaning once a week. It means you spend more time with your main priority (family, children, etc) and the other is to serve others in NEED. Not many people can do that including myself to be honest. Hi Barbie! For the very dirty areas of bathroom I would have spread thé product with a flat broom fitted with its mop to avoid rubbing by hand (save your arms when there IS so much to clean), and finish by rubbing with a handle fitted with a sponge, that gets all over the place! 💋 from France
