Please a male Version ❤ What Do you think of straws? I would love to hear your take on them for vocal exercises.

I’m doing this an octave down except for the wee head voice section which I’m doing with the student but a male version would be helpful. Especially with Kurt doing the exercises as a reference 😊

I’ve found super light creaky door exercises to be the most beneficial for me in the last six months. And you’ve been the best by far at explaining it. Another great video, thank you Sir.

Kurt when vocalizing (running scales and warm up exercises) do you encourage emoting and getting into "character" when running through these exercises. Or should they be done more to accurately get the mechanics of the exercise down as the priority. I guess an example would be some rock singers. I always imagine someone like Robert Plant (when he was 22 or 23) in 1971 doing these types of exercises, or like Chris Cornel when he was 24. (or even someone like Little Richard etc) Would they be singing them like they'd be approaching a song, or is the idea to do the exercise cleanly and precisely?
