i was with someone for just over 4 years and i ended things because i wasn’t happy and it was not a healthy relationship. i ended up dating someone new with a month. many thought i moved on toooo fast but now that new guy and me have been together for 4.5 years already and everything is still sooo good. i feel like my ex and i were broken up before i even ended it just because of how unhealthy the relationship was and they him and i just slowly were separating before i finally called it quits. people may think it’s weird that you’re moving on already but they have no idea what goes on behind the camera every single day. and to the comments saying “she used to say how happy she was and now she says she’s the happiest she’s ever been it’s confusing and makes no sense” she THOUGHT she was happy. but now that she is living her life differently and with different people she is realizing a new happy, and it’s the happiest she’s ever been so far in her life... and she has many years left so she could find a happier time down the road too. it’s called growing! love you carli, so happy to hear you’re doing sooo good! ♡ 🐧🐧

I love this! When my first marriage broke down everyone was shocked but it was a unhealthy relationship but nobody knew because I was to scared to tell them the truth. And I still am tbh, my mum occasionally talks about my ex like the sun shines out of his ass but I feel like I cannot tell her the truth now after so many years! I spent 5 years with someone feeling the same way.. when we broke up I felt like my world was crashing down even though I was miserable. Short time later I met my current boyfriend.. and we celebrate 9 years together tomorrow :). We just got a new home.. and we are so happy! It never would’ve happened if I hadn’t split with my ex.. if I hadn’t gone through those tough times. If you aren’t happy, make that change. You deserve it!

You can’t be afraid of change because it can turn out to be the best decision you’ve ever done for yourself. I was afraid to leave my husband because I wasn’t working and he was fully supporting me financially but not emotionally so I decided that I didn’t want to live like that anymore and only I could do something about it, so I did. It was the best decision I could have ever made and the feeling of being free and finally happy was completely worth it. Like I said we have this one life, make it beautiful.

"a year from now if you make the decision that you think is right, youre going to be so grateful" SO TRUE. *you will never regret ending something that was making you unhappy, you will only regret staying in that situation for too long.* this happened with my ex, i was so scared to walk away from that relationship because of the history and emotional investment but once i followed my heart and ended the relationship, my life fell together on its own. ofcourse i was scared as heck and very sad at first, but every single time i think back to the breakup now, i am filled with gratitude because i am 10000x's happier! If youre not happy in your relationship, either work on it or WALK AWAY. relationships arent meant to fill you with anxiety and doubt, you should feel at ease, and happy most of the time. BE BRAVE AND LEAVE if you know its the right thing to do.

Carli i am so freaking proud of you. You have no idea how much I relate to everything you've gone through and how it feels to breakup with someone you felt could have been your forever. I went through my breakup in 2015 and the process took up until 2017. I too, was scared of the unknown and the effects it would have on my life in the beginning months. I cried so much, I was so depressed - i went through therapy and it was truly the hardest thing I have ever done. But the thing that really pushed me to find happiness was YOU. You have preached since day one that us girls should never settle. I would watch you inner beauty channel videos and videos on this channel where you would give relationship advice and Im telling you - YOU are what gave me the courage to be free and find my happiness. I watched your videos over and over and over until I had enough power in me to find my happiness and put ME first for once in my life. Carli you have no idea how much you have helped me and how much you inspire me. I love you so so much. You gave me the advice I needed to hear when I was scared out of my mind to make a change. I am still improving myself but I can tell you here I am a year after so much happened and I can truly say I AM HAPPY. I totally understand where you're coming from. I was in a relationship and marriage for 10 years and we have 2 kids but he wasn't good for me. I was so unhappy. When I left him, I was so scared because I have never been single. I had 2 kids and felt like I would never find someone who would want to be with me because of all my baggage. Biracial_bella glad you were brave enough to leave. I’ve been married for almost 10 years in June, 15 years in the relationship, 2 boys and I’m so unhappy. I’m going to be 30 this year and I told myself I didn’t want to start off my 30s unhappy. I’m already traumatized by my age.😂 Ugh But it’s hard. Especially when you have people telling you to leave but it’s not an easy decision. Maybe one day I’ll be as brave as you!

Denisse Guzman yes girl I get it. But once you leave an unhappy situation you're giving God or the universe room to move things around for you. But you have to make that first move. Trust me it's the best decision I ever made. And if you have kids, don't think that they don't know how unhappy you are. Set a good example for them by getting out of that situation and striving for more. You got this girl! And I'm 31. You're never too old and it's never too late to do you.

Definitely he was such an ass to her ! I always thought it was just me over analyzing but I’m glad you thought so too. He was often belittling her and disrespecting her in the vlogs. I’m glad she got rid of him. Looks aren’t everything, character and morals are the most important. 💁🏻‍♀️ i hope this man will treat her right. I can’t help but wonder what exactly was the final straw for her lol I’m too nosy 😩😂

Carli this video seriously fell from the sky for me Im currently 30 weeks pregnant contemplating on ending things with my boyfriend (baby’s dad) he’s currently on vacation right now.. by himself.. And it might not seem like a big deal to most i feel so heartbroken my heart is literally hurting right now because I’ve never felt so alone I work full time 12 hour shifts and it’s killing me and I have to keep on working to pay my pregnancy hospital bills I’m exhausted I’m tired I’m fat I’m swollen and it’s just unfair to me I’ve been nothing but good to him I’m expecting HIS baby and he hasn’t called not once to see how my appointments have been, if I have money to eat ,or just to see how we are doing. I’m also planning my baby shower right now And I’m basically paying for everything I wish he could understand that he left in the least appropriate time I wish he could know how tired I am and how hard this pregnancy has been for me since the beginning. I already know he’s going to come back and try to act like everything is okay but it’s not because he can take weeks off of work to enjoy to himself and I can’t even enjoy my last two months of pregnancy at home resting I feel terrible and I just know I have to end things with him because I don’t deserve to feel like this I’m creating life inside me and no woman should ever have to feel like this I’m scared I’m going to miss him I’m scared it’s going to be harder for me but I just can’t let him treat me like that I needed this So much I’m in tears because you’re giving me strength god bless you for using your platform in the correct way and I’m sorry this was so long I just have no one to vent to and I’m literally hurting thank you Carli for your wise words thank you

Endearing W First of all let me tell you that you are not alone! You will soon discover what true unconditional love is when you hold your baby. Follow your heart and sometimes it's better to be alone than being with someone expecting something they will never be or give us. Being a mom it's one of the hardest roles in life but I guarantee you it's also the most rewarding and so worth it. Stay strong, keep working hard and take all negativity our of your life. I don't know. This might get deleted, but I think a main reason why they ended was because Brett wasn't really doing much in terms of his career. He was just piggy-backing off of her fame and using that to get more views on his own KZbin channel He probably relied on her financially - not that he doesn't have a steady income - but you could tell he doesn't try as hard as she does to make a successful career out of KZbin (in which he doesn't post as frequently as Carli) He was becoming lazy and too dependent and I'm sure Carli - being a smart, business-savvy woman - started figuring that out after a while which ended in their breakup (amongst other things, I'm sure)

I just want to say thankyou so much for your words in this video Carli. As positive as I try to be after my boyfriend of a year and a half broke up with me a few months ago, I've been struggling to maintain a constant level of happiness recently. However, listening to you made me really realise what I've been trying to tell myself these past few days. I know that in a years time, hell, even in a few weeks time I'll be okay! I got married right out of college to my first serious boyfriend. I didn't know better. it was never "right" and it definitely went on longer than it should have. I was miserable everyday, thinking the problem was with me? I was scared of change too. Of being alone. But I also wasn't happy... SO.. I finally decided (before my 30th birthday) to do what was right for me. We ended things. I went off on my own for a while and then I met someone new. And 2 years later we wed. He was/is definitely the one! And I appreciate him so much more because of my past situations... :) I'm happy YOU'RE happy, Carli!
