I tie my ties in the same way, except sometimes I do a double knot. I don't like fancy knots, the simplest ones are the best. The Italians from E. Marinella taught me this method.

I understand the four in hand knot but what about that collar. Is the windsor or half windsor better with that collar? Or does collar shape not matter?I thought it does matter what knot goes with the collar. Still very smart though

It depends more about the tie space of the collar ( the amount of space between the to two upper parts of the collar at the front) our collars have a smaller space ( than some) so a four in hand is fine.🤝🥂👔

@@rhodeswood5513 it's the rest of the outfit that does it. I rarely see anyone wearing a top hat in Denmark, but it almost always ends up looking like a halloween costume.

Why do you refer to the waistcoat as a vest? Isn’t a vest worn under the shirt?

It’s an old tailoring term. The jacket is always called a coat and a waistcoat is always called a vest🤝

Locks Wonderfull though i Personally would for a Morning Suit style Always go with a classic stressemann Trouser Style this may just be the most british style i have seen in a while on a sidenote my congratulations to Being Invitet to this most Stylish aswell as Prestiges of all events a Gentlemann could attend

VERY BEAUTIFULLY DRESSED, SHOES ARE NOT MADE LIKE THAT ANYMORE, MY GRANDFATHER USED TO TAKE ME TO THE MENS STORE IN MACY'S, HE WOULD BUY ME NUN BUSH SHOES AND THE WERE CLASS JUST AS YOURS ARE,HOWEVER, THE SHOES VERY SO HARD TO BEND WHEN WALKING THAT THEY HURT, TODAY I CAN SLIDE INTO A TASSEL LOAFER AND WALK WITH EASE BUT THE QUALITY OF THE SOLE IS GONE.
