I can verify the use of plastic bags for reducing wrinkling. If your shirts came packed in a plastic bag, keep the bag and put your folded shirts in it when traveling as it also works well. Sometimes with pants, I will fold them in half, put the waistband section flat in the suitcase, then let the pant leg extend out of the other end of the suitcase. Then put other items into the suitcase or carry on and then fold the pant leg back over the other items. This creates a curve in the pant leg, reducing wrinkling and crease formation.

Hi Jeremy👋🏻 Nice video; helpful tho I’d add that I’ve found it extra helpful to encase the flat inverted jacket ( or as is) in the DC plastic sheath before folding. Insert a sheet of tissue paper before folding trousers and encasing in another plastic bag as well…or roll as you’ve done with your chinos. Xx

Proper man shop

My farther started his working life in what he called ' the boot trade' in about 1932. His advice was always to buy the best quality shoes I could afford and to look after them, with regular polishing and maintenance. I have always folliwed that advice. The military helped take me this to another level. I agree about polishing shoes before sending for repair. It may not make a difference to the repair but I do think it shows you care. I also always wash my car before getting it serviced, just to get across that I care about its condition. Good video. . I miss Kiwi Parade Gloss.

I enjoy polishing shoes, it''s almost theraputic. One is not dressed if shoes are scruffy. I have some salvaged lambskin which makes a wonderful polishing cloth.
