Life is life without parole, that's what my Mum told me, Dad was a violent narcissist, so I shared her pessimism ...until I left them all at 16 for bedsit land and a job in a factory in another City. Life is full of surprises, someimes really nice ones, like the day you started your business and when you met Jack, you go girl, the only person who can limit your acheivements and success is you. Take care.

Thanks so much for sharing your story - that can’t have been easy, but it’s always nice to see the reality behind the video persona. You have shown amazing resilience with everything you have been through which will carry you forward. I’m 53 and getting divorced after 13 years with my ex - it’s scary but exciting. Life is an adventure and we need to make the most of it. Good luck with the business and hopefully getting on the property ladder, you certainly deserve it.

You are stunning & a lovely person. As someone who also had a traumatic and messy childhood with my dad and stepmum/ my mum, it was very difficult in adulthood to accept some of the things that happened. I am a mother now to one young boy and he is my world. It’s very humbling I remember things now that I thought I forgot. It’s making me realise the mistakes my parents made that I don’t want to make for my son. I struggled financially all my life as my dad did not support us financially as a child, started working at 14. Still renting to this day with my son and partner trying to save for a mortgage. I don’t drink either as my mother is an alcoholic and it turned me off for life seeing her being sick and looking after her as a young girl I didn’t really understand. I love the way you have tried so many different careers. I did my degree in education, a night course to be an accountant, did that for a few years but hated it. Now I’m a medical administrator part time studying midwifery part time. Love love love your channel!!❤❤ keep up the good work

Wow. How beautifully candid of you.... I resonate so much with your life (apart from that I'm a couple of years older, have ADHD & a 9 year old son)... But I moved to Hadleigh, near Ipswich when the "Suffolk strangler" was doing his awful stuff. I came from Manchester... Then moved to Norfolk, then to Colchester Essex & back to Manchester.... I came off all medication for my mental health as it turned out I had ADHD not a serotonin imbalance....but I only just discovered your frugal food content tonight, and I loved watching this GRWM video and learning more about you. What a lovely inspiring woman you are. Much love xx

@@TheBudgetFoodie wow what a interest life so far i am so impressed with how far you have come and its been on your own steam . I think a small close inner circle is best keeping track of a large group of superficial friends is hard work and not worth the hassle . There are few people you can truly trust and the only person you can rely on 100% is yourself. Despite practising as a psychiatrist before having the girls and then becoming ill i also did a msc in occupational psychology at queens university here in northern ireland and i incorporated some consultancy work in over the years for moy park civil service and nhs . I fully appreciate how many hours you put into your business and yes it impacts on relationships either finding a partner or just keeping them ... men tend to be quite needy and as i get older i want things to run smoothly and dont want someone relying on me to make them happy so ih invisible husband suits me just fine lol. Very interesting. When you mentioned your mental health it reminded me I had not taken medication for a while. Please look into vitamin D3 supplementation (with K2 and a good magnesium supplement - no cutting corners) if you haven't already. I initially took this for psoriasis. But I believe it helps my mood. I take a high dose. I realise it is a game changer for me. You are a lovely person and I would hate it if there were just a couple of supplements that might help you and give you that same support as the medication but that also helped things like your physical health too. I would be interested to hear if you had thought of this at all.

Pls do more sit down chat vids, it's like talking to a gd friend, you come across so genuine and it is really refreshing. :))) Anyhews, thanks for all your budget videos on meals and grocery shops, very helpful. I was lucky to have been a teenager in the 60's ,for both the fashion and the great music. Born in Leicester so I know your Norfolk coastine very well. In fact my honeymoon was spent in a romantic caravan in East or West Runton (can't remember which) My Mum was a tailor and I was a good seamstress so between us my clothes were all handmade. I worked in a clothing factory so had the chance to buy fantastic materials. Our Mod clothes were influenced by chic, simple French design and the fantastic English designers of the time. Our shoes were Italian design influenced. You wear a lot of Black and white which was very popular in about '66/67. Google mod target designs, I think you would love them. Living in Leicester with a fantastic growing community of other nationalities meant that fab musicians from the West Indies and USA came to Leicester on tour. I saw groups from Motown, Stax, Atlantic etc record labels. I still play that music today. I feel blessed to have had those fab teenage years. I love your very individual style. BTW After having my two daughters I went back to work but in fashion but in food. I ran 1970's Wholefood cafes, always working that sort of catering with good nutritional food being at the heart of my catering. Retired now, l grow veg in my back garden and I preserve loads of different foods. Being a frugal, waste not want not sort of person is what first interested about your channel. Keep it up you are doing a great job. Love Sue ❤️

I use poundland make up their mascara is brilliant! Also poundland perfume and I get my hair dye from my local chemist, £1.50. I love that you say "supermarche" because thats what I call it. Love your videos, thank you for sharing x
