I loved this so much!! You're both awesome, but Sarah you're going to be a great counselor. Honestly I've known some know it alls that struggle with listening. In this video you don't interrupt Sarah at all. You listen to what she says. I like in the first part how you explained that avoiding things that make you anxious can be unhealthy. You didn't do that in a judgmental way at all. I can see how she feels very comfortable with you and it was great advice. It seems like she looks up to you a lot too! I definitely do and you're only a year older than me. I also think it's a strength that you relate to younger people and that will stick with you when you work with teens! The constructive criticism thing was right on point! I also subscribe to your horror channel and what i love about your reviews is that when you don't like something you always back it up with arguments (script/acting/directing. I think a lot of people can't differenciate between their opinion and the actual film but you always make a point to say when something is your opinion without trashing the film so even when i don't agree with you I always enjoy watching your videos :) (Those sunglasses are awesome Fear and loathing for sure! I think the thing about age is that it makes more of an impact when you're younger. Like an age difference of 7 years between two people who are under 20 is super weird because of the developmental differences but once you're near/over 20 age is nothing but a number!

I'm someone who has friends both older and younger than I am, and I totally agree that while there are some differences that doesn't mean it's difficult to be friends. as long as you have similar interests and values it works. I actually have friends that are 15-20 years older than I am and we don't consider that to be weird, we just sometimes joke around about it
