Quick, simple and to the point! Thanks for the great spider repellent recipe. Although, I don't think it is natural after adding the dish soap. I get the point though. Dish soap is very mild and a much better alternative to harsh chemicals and insecticides. Thanks again for the recipe.

Pretty sure the brand Dawn is pet friendly, since they have commercials where they rescue ducks, clean them and set them free. Certain places will have natural dish soap as well.

I’m going to try this on George. That is what my son named him. He is about 4 inches in diameter- a large garden spider. He hangs out on the wall just above our door bell and also just above unsuspecting visitors of our front porch. The whole area is completely arachnophobiacally infested. We are too sensitive to chemicals to do anything else 😩😩 I hope George moves along. Thanks for the recipe!!

1/2 c. Pinsol 2c.water 10 drops peppermint oil. Spray around windows doors and cracks not only will your house smell good but the creepy crawlers will go next door 😂 all those things hate pinesol! 😂 just clean. The original pinesol is amazing!

Kurohana 321 no way to prevent as you have vents and pipes everywhere that lead into the house. unless you close off the vents with micro mesh fences or something, which would cost a bunch and take a while to install. but the peppermint is what keeps them from going in there in the first place. just spray it two times a week on places like corners and any areas you feel you would be in if you were a spider

Hate to break it to everyone, but this doesn't work after a hatching and your room is filled with baby spiders. I've tried this method, sometimes twice a day, and they still keep appearing. Had to submit and use Raid

Same here. Moved to Africa and these spiders laugh at Raid. Had to use a product called DOOM. Works great. I also placed moth balls in closets and WRAPPED OLD SOCKs SOAKED IN VINEGAR and DOOM around the light fixtures where they come out of the wall. Those hatchlings were laid on a warm surface (near the light fixture openings). Works great

A house spider or two is FINE in your home. Leave them be. They eat TONS of other insects. They will not hurt you. I don't understand why people are so scared of them. Don't be a baby.
