Brother thank you. Had the same issue and you saved me having to gut absolutely everything. Probably will have to take everything out so I can clean off all the rust that built up but you’re a life saver brother!

Awesome video, having a nightmare with my 2010 Q5 Sline 2.0 - when it rains heavily I get water in offside trunk, causes a real headache with my electrics, dashboard lights report faults on several components for loss of communication, I then need to reset using my diagnostics tool....this looks like it might be my problem, will check today...many thanks.

Did your car ever not start because of taking on too much water? My Q5 won’t start now but some of the other lights in the car still work

@@branswan4886 No mate I never had starting problems, for me it was all dashboard lights tripping out...my problem was the blocked sunroof hose (Yellow pipe), as soon as I removed it from the inside of the rear wheel arch I was able to see it was blocked, I cleared the blockage, replaced the pipe I then added some sealant for good measure and I never had the problem again. It took weeks to dry out fully.

Thank you! Just got the nasty bill for electronics damage due to the clogged drainage line - ouch! Love my Audi''s, but gotta say this was a piss-poor design in German engineering... who puts a drain line near the fuses, electronics, nav system, etc. Not well thought through. Thanks for the video.

Having the same issue but the car won’t start. Haven’t even gotten a quote yet but I’m sure it’s a lot. Did you ever have an issue with the car starting and if so what did you do?
