I tried the snoring exercise before I sleep for a few day. Unbelievable I don’t snore at night. Sleep like a baby. Thank you.

Peta, I have to tell you this. I don't snore so I didn't do this exercise before sleeping. But I realised that I am a mouth breather and that is why I used to wake up with a sagging jawline and nasolabial lines. I have started doing 50 of these before sleeping since the last few days and my face looks so much better!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thanks so much for this, Peta! I don't snore, but I've always been a mouth breather because I could never get enough air through my nose. Surprisingly, the nose exercises seem to clear my nasal passages so I can breathe through my nose, Lol, but it's still a habit to breathe through my mouth. I've been doing this exercise for four days and noticed that I'm breathing through my nose without even trying! Who knew facial exercise could help a problem I've had for years?!

PETA, I trained myself to sleep on my back a couple of years ago and my DH tells me that I snore all night long. I must sleep on my back as I get terrible vertigo when I sleep on my side. I’ve been doing the exercise from this video without any changes in my snoring. I believe the snoring is contributing to my dry mouth upon awakening and also accelerated drooping of the skin around my mouth and jaw. I watched one of your videos in which you talked about wearing a chin strap to keep your mouth closed while you sleep but I haven’t been able to find it again. Can you please tell me which chin strap you purchased for yourself and/or which one you would recommend? Thank you. I appreciate your advice,

@facerobics8 жыл бұрын
Hi Two Moons, no as I have said in many videos and comments across the channel, the EAWM Series are not to be changed. The reason why is that I have constructed the exercises so that people do not over exercise their faces, and by changing one exercise, you could be doing that in the next routine. Just stick to what I have created :-)

Hi Jamie, yes you will hear that sound, possibly however you are pushing too hard to be hearing it. Do not press your teeth together at all, just press your tongue to the top of the roof of your mouth as you are contracting the muscles. The teeth do not come into it at all.

Nice exercise, thanks. But keep in mind that snoring isn't just caused by the jaw muscles. It can also be caused by weak throat, tongue and soft palate muscles, as well as constricted nasal passages.
@sherryzink56985 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I snore and have had a couple of devices to hold the mouth closed at night. Nothing helped. I'm working on this strengthening the palate and tongue. We'll see how it goes. I'm also trying a tip used by singers and making specific sounds to accomplish that too, so if you hear me pass you saying "GA GA GA" - join me. lol
@facerobics5 жыл бұрын
if you exercise the tongue muscle it will strengthen it, and make it sit in its proper place, which is at the roof of the mouth and then will prevent you from snoring.

Excuse me but I am not clear about the answer.Also thanks I really like your quick routines and am loving your products...
@facerobics8 жыл бұрын
Ellen you cant add any exercises, and there are big notes on the Exercise Along With me vids that say so. You need to follow the routines as I have created them because there are reasons why areas are left out. I talk about this prolifically across the channel, and if you are not understanding, have a look in the play list for the coaching videos, you will find videos on why you cannot add them
@blingbling80659 жыл бұрын
Hi Peta, can this one be added to any full face routines a person does or does it replace some exercises depending on which face routines you do for certain muscles. Also wondering if it will help my area under my chin that hangs down? The left side still hangs lower than the right side.

@janedavies33178 жыл бұрын
Hi Peta. I'm just about to start the series 2 EAWM so I'm going through the 'how to' videos. I'm trying to perfect this exercise but when I press in the 'i' button for the notes, an error message comes up, Maybe because I am in the UK not Australia?!Anyway, I'm a little confused as to how to move my tongue - do I curve it backwards so the under side of my tongue is on the roof of my mouth, or curl it forwards so the middle/tip of the top side of my tongue is pressing against the roof of my mouth? Apologies in advance for being a bit dense! Thanks Peta ☺
@facerobics8 жыл бұрын
I have changed my website, so the notes are not available now. When I open the premium facerobics Gym they will all be available in there. Well the ones to the EAWM Series will be. With your tongue, press it to the top of your mouth. You dont have to move it, just press firmly to the roof of your mouth. Its ok to ask, you need to do it properly. Hope that is clearer.

@allygolding36478 жыл бұрын
HI Peta, I have been using your program for 2 years now and I do love it, even though I frustrate myself at times. After a few months of not practicing the program correctly, I have now been following series 1 and now on series 2 (150 reps) week 5 of 6, and I am following it to an absolute T. I have noticed that with the snoring exercise the side of my mouth droops slightly more in week 5 than in weeks 2, 3 and 4. For example I woke up this morning and after doing all exercises except the final snoring exercise the sides of my mouth were not so bad and now I have done the snoring exercise they are far more turned down....hmmm puzzled. I have been practicing all the exercises on all the routines and freezing with breathing method so I feel I am doing things correctly to the best of my ability, plus I do NOT add any other exercises. I do facial exercises first thing in the morning laying down, as recommended, and also check in mirror that I am doing correctly. The corners of my mouth are letting me down in comparison to the rest of my face. Could this possibly be that I am doing the exercises too strongly as I do put effort in to them?

Hi Sharon here is the Facerobics Program and how to follow it properly - renewme.com.au/where-to-start-and-how-to-use-the-facerobics-face-exercise-program-for-your-face-exercise-success/. With this program you must be doing a full face routine, if you don’t, you run the risk of causing more sagging and wrinkling of the skin. This is because the program is a very strong exercise program. Everything, along with the Exercise Along With Me videos are in the playlists on this channel. Make sure to work thru the series as instructed starting from Series 1 to Series 6. When you get to Series 6 (if there is not a new series) start at Series 1 again and move thru the program again. All of the explanation videos are in the information bar at the top right hand corner of the video, the little circle, just click on it, or in the playlists on the channel. Also if you haven’t already remember to subscribe and hit the notification bell also, as the program is forever evolving and you could miss out on updates. I would encourage you to go to the playlists and watch the beginner videos, and techniques before you start.

Just to be safe. Is it okay to do this one along with exercises for cheeks and neck? Seems like I could feel my neck working and maybe cheeks. So that's why I wanted to ask to be sure. Thank you so much!

+Angela Dale - hi Angela, yes its ok. Are you doing a full face routine, making up your own?

+FACEROBICS® - Your Face Exercise Coach Yes I'm doing whole face routine. Using yours as a guideline and have added just a couple for upper lips and the "chin up" one. I've just started a few days ago. I think I'm safe to do the upper lip AND the "chin up" at the same time? They are both close around the mouth but seem to use different muscles. There is also another one I like "Lifting the corners of the mouth" but I was afraid that was too much mouth work in this 6 week session. If I'm wrong please feel free to correct me. THANK YOU SO MUCH for all you do!

+Angela Dale - so long as you change them ever 6 weeks, and do not over exercise the muscle groups with the exercises. Yes, chin up and upper lip is fine to do together. One is upper lip, other is lower lip, as long as you just isolate those areas individually.

Shahnaz, if you have been face exercising for 7 months your facial muscles would have to have tightened up. You might be confusing that with your skin.

I have a tremendous amount of tension in my jaw and neck. This exercise seems to exacerbate it.

Hello Peta.....I am working on learning the exercises for the 2nd series. I finished the series one exercises for the recommended amount of time. Actually, this is my 2nd time going through the series of 3. Here is my question: I have no problems with snoring, but my biggest complaint is my neck. Should I do the snoring exercise anyway for 6 weeks....? or should i replace it with a neck and chin exercise that you don't have in series 1 or 3? My neck still needs a lot of work, after over a year of doing the exercises. My neck is maybe slightly better, and my face in general is slightly better....at least not getting worse. It's a bit frustrating after so much time, but i am 66, so maybe it will just take a long long time. I'm not giving up yet ! Please answer my question about the neck exercise in series 2. Thank you for all your great videos and all the help you give all of us, with such sincerity and kindness. Barbara

Hi Gary, glad to hear you are working away with diligence on your exercises. The snoring exercise is the ONLY exception I make to the Exercise Along With Me Series. You can do this exercise 20-50 times each night after you finish your routines to help you stop snoring. Do not change any of the routines. As you would know this is displayed as a big note in the beginning of all of the routines. Do not change the routines, otherwise, you will cause over exercising and more skin sagging. Just do the snoring exercise each night after the routines if you snore.
