no lie this is one of the best solidworks videos ive seen on YT. Most videos don't do a good job and have 1 super easy and not relatable example.

Great way to save time. Another way is to use the solidworks feature "copy mates." You will still need to mate at least one component; however when using the feature solidworks will remember the mate features and allow you to paste as many components as needed.

You know, I've seen that option and never cared to use it. Thanks for the tip!

wow, such an amazing tips. thank you for the tutorial, Sir. Please continue with the library component that combine with mate references, is it possible to do? Keep share all you know about how to create anything faster and efficient. I'm starting subscribing you.

Thank you! I'm glad you found this useful. I'll definitely keep doing these videos for a long while. Thanks for your support. As you see, I'm barely starting, so if you can share this channel and my videos I'll be very grateful. What you mean for another video is to create a library component that uses mate references? Is that what you meant?
@Ryohgantz Жыл бұрын
@@solidsensei Yes it is, Sir. Because i frequently using the same component for different project, then i imagining it will be nice if i can just drag and drop from library window. Thank you for your respons.

I try on profile angle bracket but it work only for one surface .

How can i make this work with profiles i create with weldments?
@solidsensei Жыл бұрын
Well, I don't see why this same method wouldn't work. This should work for profiles extruded from a sketch, imported bodies or extrusions made from the weldments module. Let me know if it doesn't!

I have a D-Shaped hole feature that I pull in from my parts library. There is an LED module that sits inside the D-Shaped hole, and I would like to use smart mates in an assembly. Is it possible to add smart mates to a Library Feature part?
@solidsensei Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it, but I don't think so. After all, your library feature will be used in a lot of different parts, not necessarily with the same references always. I think it would be best for you to create a part with multiple configurations and then add the mate references to the part itself
@ReDsOxFaN4LiFe13 ай бұрын
In the first few seconds of the video, how are you using Insert Component and adding the same part multiple times? Are you holding Ctrl, Shift, or Alt? I try Insert Component but when I click the part to insert you function goes away and I have to click Insert Component again.
@solidsensei3 ай бұрын
The same window on the left with the options for inserting components has a toggle button on the top right corner in the shape of a... Needle with a handle? Sorry for not knowing the translation, but that button turns blue when clicked on it and then the window stays on until you click the button again.
