Ayy… el subjuntivo es el mayor obstáculo para aquellos que aprenden español, incluso yo. Sin embargo, una vez que lo domines, será muy fácil.

There are so many time forms and conjugations in Spanish that I usually just ignore the subjuntivo and try not to think about it too much. People will still understand me and it will probably just come naturally once I am more fluent and have a few years practice.

here’s the way i think of it. a basic example lets say we wanted to say “Don’t be silly” in spanish without the subjuntive conjugation we would say its “no eres tonto”, which translates to “you are not silly” this is where subjunctive comes in. “no seas tonto” is the correct way because you have a desire for someone not to act that way. again, it literally translates to, “don’t be silly!” also, subjuntive is always used after words like “espero que”, “Ojalá que”, etc. no tengas miedo de usarlo! (another example) hope that helps :)
@FlorianHWave
@FlorianHWave 8 ай бұрын
@@TheXPERT891Yeah, I'm familiar with it coming after the word "que" (in most cases). But I'm still not good at getting the normal word endings correctly. So if I want to say, "Espero que beban cerveza", then in my head I'm like "okay, what is 'to drink' in Spanish? Is it 'beber' or 'bebar' or 'bebir'? Oh, it's 'beber', so I need to change it to an 'a' in this sentence", etc. etc. The amount of time it takes me to form a grammatically correct sentence in my head before speaking it, just makes it impossible to have a proper conversation, so I made it my strategy to just ignore it for now until I'm more fluent. I hope that makes sense, haha

@@TheXPERT891Oh, I just noticed - isn't "no seas tonto" an imperative and not a subjunctive?

Ar- get the “e” from Er Er & Ir- get the “a” from Ar Any irregulars regardless of ending or “yo” form irregulars will use both the rule above with the irregular in all conjugations. Often times this is used when “que” is used in front Use subjunctive if connected to the main subject, and infinitive if not. [This is what I surmised from this, I believe this is something that once you see to just keep immersing and looking out for these rules to get used to hearing and using it. Practice with simple verbs you know under these rules and irregularities practicing scenarios and all the options that could come up in a conversation]

"Los verbos pasan a utilizar..." - que significa exactamente "pasan" en esta expression?
@EasySpanish
@EasySpanish 8 ай бұрын
Hola!

(All these sentences have one thing in common. They express a level of uncertainty, wishes, doubts, give advice or comment on something indirectly: It's important that ..., necesaary that ... etc)
