Hello Julie, Did you get spinal fusion? If not, can we get the exercises demonstrated by someone who got spinal fusion? I am concerned that the obvious resulting rigidity may not have been accounted for from someone with spinal fusion.

Hello! I have just discovered this video series..somewhere, I had seen a video that you did specially for your concave side? I’m joining your website, but I can’t find that video again..I’m 58 and 7 years post fusion..my “hump” seems to be growing, and my concave side collapsing! Where can I find this particular vid..thank you for all you do...I’m in Alabama too!

How are you feeling after spine fusion surgery ? All I am seeing on internet is negative comments and I have so much pain on my back I might need surgery 😔 all I have is God to help me I am hopeless 😞
@sandracunliffe96693 жыл бұрын
Look at Julie, she had surgery. It will be tough initially but if you're in a really bad way now, is it worth a try? Take advice from your doctor, get a second opinion if necessary. It's not for everyone but I have never regretted having surgery. Good luck 🍀

fused c5-7, l3-s1, and sarum to illium. The problem with these videos for fusion is the assumption of where the fusion is. I cannot move my lower back or hips as you do in the video.
@AlignmentPaths5 жыл бұрын
Michele Lena actually if you look closely I’m not moving from my low back but rather hinging at the hip joint. I’m keeping my 2 unfused lumbar areas basically stabilized . These more recent videos have been designed to accommodate full fusions to the sacrum. Hope that helps clarify a bit
@michelelena18165 жыл бұрын
@@AlignmentPaths My sacrum never fused normally, so I have screws into my ilium from S1 so my hip joint barely moves. Also, my sacrum is unstable and I am not supposed to stand on one foot. I was told to only do lying down exercises. I am 6 weeks post op and have 6 lumbar vertebrae, so it was a 5 level fusion and sacral stabilization surgery. I am bored with my routine, that involves hand weights and isometric exercises.
@AlignmentPaths5 жыл бұрын
Yea - unfortunately you aren't very far out for more creative exercise. Stick with the isometrics for a while ! Good luck in your recovery

Excuse me madam,2 months back i had gone through spine implant removal surgery from L2 to L4 .Now my question is can i do these exercises and is it safe for me or not. Please reply.
@AlignmentPaths6 жыл бұрын
Suresh Yadav that would be a question for your surgeon . If you have been cleared for all activity without any restrictions then this should be something you can work with but i can’t give specific advice over the internet

You did removed the metal rodes from your spine? How does it feels? Better?
@hughforward59926 жыл бұрын
Sorry to add such a specific question, but my right si joint is fused I am fused l5-l4-l3-l2 and have a fracture at t12 and a left sided shoulder replacement. I am thinking of a spinal stimulator. How does yoga fit into my recovery? I am 58.
@AlignmentPaths6 жыл бұрын
you would need to find a really good yoga therapist in your area who could help you establish an adapted yoga practice for your particularl issues. I would definitely make sure a doctor clears you for it !
@hughforward59926 жыл бұрын
Do you think that yoga is part of the solution, with the fusion going through all of the lumbar spine into the si joint? Most of the people on iTunes seem to have some mobility at l4-l5
@AlignmentPaths6 жыл бұрын
Hugh I’ve worked with people who have full fusions to the sacrum and adapted yoga has been an important part of their movement program. That being said I cant speak to your particular case without working with you Individually. I’m happy to consult on Skype. Please email me at my website www.alignmentpaths.com if you’re interested in further discussion
