When I found out about the Speedrun tactics and glitches in 1.0 I immediately looked for a way to degrade the game and I found your vid which was a very simple and detailed explanation of what we had to do unlike the other vids I found before this. Sadly there is no other way to in update a game without factory resetting the console

If you try to delete save data from one game or update data from one game. When you re-enter the cartridge it will force you to update and will not let you play without updating

What ever the a000 is for you will tell you the base version on the cart

try doing this: power your switch off all the way and then hold the volume up and volume down button at the same time and then click the power button. keep holding the volume buttons until it turns on. there will be a popup that says initialize without deleting save data and do that. it will reset the versions but you will keep ur save data
