Every Glitch in Super Mario Odyssey ᵃˡᵐᵒˢᵗ

Going on a quest to show more Super Mario Odyssey Glitches in a video than that other guy.
A lot of work went into this video and I really hope I can make more glitch videos like this one sometime in the future! I'd love to be able to turn the Every Glitch ᵃˡᵐᵒˢᵗ into a recurring series, so we'll have to see where things go! For now, enjoy!

a fun continuation of the letter glitch is if you go close to the capturable taxi, you can warp to the area you'd normally need to capture the taxi to go to. kinda neat.

So, I’ve only recently played SMO, and I only watched a handful of SMO videos, most of them speed runs. I was FLOORED when I came across Moon Cave, I had NO IDEA it existed. I thought you just went to the chapel!! I didn’t know there was an additional boss fight

there's a glitch in dark side which has been in the game since it came out. the pole that you use to go to the boss rush can be grabbed onto in the wall, allowing you to go in the wall oob

I've messed around with programming a collision system and I can see how they could make that corner clipping problem. Though I am surprised that Nintendo didn't fix (or maybe even fin?) that problem. In my engine I made a check for collision based on if the character's location was between the edges of the surface, what that didn't account for is if they where at the exact location of the surface's edge. So if you put the character in the perfect position and have them move at the right angle they just slip through the gaps. Although it'd be easy to overlook, I just tested the shiz out of it because I just like trying to make bug proof little projects. Also wouldn't help if your character can change the size or shape of their collision box.

You missed a sort of "glitch sequence" allowing for another wallclimbing glitch. In wooded kingdom, capture glydon and go down to the area where the first story moon was. If you jump at the wall where there are vines with glydon, you can actually clip through it. Then, using out of bounds navigation, you can reach the area where you put Cappy on the scarecrow and fight the fire bro. But without opening the door. This allows you to capture the fire bro and put it into a weird state. Then, by uncapturing glydon against the door facing away from it, you can clip back out of the arena. Then, if you put cappy on the scarecrow, you can re-access the area with the door open. Then, by jumping on the fire bro, it doesn't die. Instead, it just bounces forwards. If you bounce him out of the arena, and then against a corner, you can climb those walls. This is an incredible set up, especially for a wall climb technique. But it's still strange.

Fir, I know this is an old video, but another glitch is rock glitch by putting a rock on a falling platform in wooded, step on the platform then catch the rock under it. When you throw the rock it will float and be invincible. U can still pick it up. And if you throw it right on a robot or something it will get hit so fast it breaks your eardrums.

my theory is that number 55 almost seems as if something for whatever reason alters a memory address of the game which contains information about the height of the water boundary. All instances of this glitch is seen when warping to a checkpoint or loading another state of a kingdom i.e. koopa freerunning which may explain the corruption that occurs. Now as to what causes that change is unknown. It may be a specific action that mario does before warping, moons collected, amount of time spent loaded or something else. Finding what actions causes to “glitch” the memory address of the game may help to replicate this glitch with more consistency.

Kill capture softlock is my favorite softlock you can use a turnip and hammer bro to kill the hammer bro capture it die and respawn with cappy on the hammer bros original model while it replays its cycle over and over throwing nothing while the world around you is frozen and you can only watch

Another weird pointless glitch is that if you capture a wiggler and stretch so your body hits another wiggler, you will keep your invincibility frames until that wiggler retracts
