With "Information Overload" so prevalent on the internet when it comes to music production, it's refreshing to see a PROFESSIONAL delivering : "Just The Facts"👍 When relevant content is paired with a COGENT delivery, there is no need for "GIMMICKS" to try and engage the viewer. "ill Factor"💪delivers the goods, well done ✌

I agree! I've been making music for such a long time and I always though that I should have the main Idea sounding perfect without any plugins on any of the instruments, now I see that I was wrong!

Hello mystery man. The content you create is extremely well put together and it is very generous of you to share these tips. These videos are helping me understand production whilst also enjoying the process of learning. I'm curious, what motivated you to make these videos in the first place? Thanks a lot!

im new to producing edm about a day in and the thing i hear from all the talented youtubers is "lay your track out before your start mixing and worrying about which sound fits best." Thought that to be very true, If you get caught up in the mix early on your idea and creative flow state will get crushed

Once you do it long enough you can mix while making the music because you have your “formula” Steve Angelo mixes while making music. But in all honesty, you are right, make your music, once you think you’re done, then mix it

Such a great tutorial. I always stay away from drum rack because I feel like the samples hit harder and sound better dragging and dropping with audio but I love the workflow of drum rack. Do you feel like enhancing the drum rack with the drum bus and some saturation gives you a similar result than just using audio tracks ?
@BeatAcademy2 жыл бұрын
By default a drum rack will have a loaded sample at -12db and can sometimes feel like it’s not hitting hard as drag and dropping the sample
