Best rune is the focus stealth bonus for your bow. Kill Uruk while undetected and get 70% focus. You can take out a shit ton of baddies without losing focus.

I branded all the captains on the Sea of Nurnen map and put them all under one warchief. Then, I made that warchief riot against all the other warchiefs. It's hilarious seeing like one warchief with 20 captains behind him (all at 20 power btw, I death threat and cultivated them all to the PEAK OF POWAH) and the other warchiefs just get slaughtered hahaha.

My game of the year, ending sucks but in my mind that's because they're setting up for a sequel which I'm fully on board for. They game up until the end is amazing. You really feel the tension early on as you're weaker, and really feel powerful by the end as you obliterate entire camps without even being seen.

I had to fight one of those, so I just got him killed by his buddies instead by instigating a duel hahaha. But then, he came back to life, so I just branded him. I put him under my favourite branded warchief (who has 20 bodyguards in the form of all 20 power captains).

I have some some of the greatest runes (All epic :)) On my sword, bow, and dagger. On my sword: I have gain two arrows from execution kills. Gain health from execution kills. Gain an extra last chance. Increases the damage of my sword done, by 50%. And I can gain three arrows from blowing up an Urks head. For my bow: Gain health from headshot kills. Decreases the focus depletion rate by 50%. Gain one arrow on all shadow strike and shadow kills. Adds an extra damage blast to fireshot. And adds 50% more damage to my bow. And for my dagger: Immunity to poison. Gain all of my health and focus on killing any warchief or captain. Gain health from stealth attacks. Powers up my Acharn ability much faster on any brutalize, stealth kill, brand, etc. And Increases the duration of elven swiftness. I really recommend getting those runes if you can, as they help quite a bit. But if you like a challenge don't use them at all. :)

On my bow I stacked 3 aura of dismay runes together, each with about a 30% chance the orcs will flee in terror if I get a stealth headshot. Now it's pretty much guaranteed that whenever I get a stealth headshot all other uruks will will run away, so I can instantly get rid of every enemy surrounding a captain or warchief, making it WAY easier to kill them.

While it is a good game it gets repetitive due to lacking in one important area and that's its main story. It's main story needs to be bigger/longer and more engaging as doing so many side quests over and over can become old. If they throw in a great story that's engaging, immersive, and along with great storytelling and characters then next one if developed could really become epic but for its first game still great showcase of something that can clearly become better and the possibilities with the nemesis system if used on a bigger scale and main story.

I have killed every single warchief at least 5 times but even in doing so they recruit another warchief as this one is killed and eventually the warchief might come back as a captain and might have stopped caring about his place on the warzone, or he challenges the other warchief in his position to a feast, duel, or even a hunt to kill warcheifs, or caragors, sometimes even gigantic beast things of which I ahve forgotten the name

Ok, I have a question. Does anyone else find it really hard to get Epic Runes for Acharn? I never get epics for it. I only get Epics when I kill a captain in normal combat, and then it is a sword rune because that's how I fought him. So, when you kill a captain with his vulnerability, it is guaranteed to be for that weapon. When I do that with a stealth weakness, I never get an epic. I literally killed 14 captains in a row, death threated, weak to stealth, and didn't get an epic. Then, today, fought death threated captains with my sword, epic every time.

been rune hunting for a few days and want to brag sooo feel free to comment with your fav runes so for those of us who may like to have them too heres mine i recover either 4 or 8 elf shot per brand (an epic with guaranteed 4 and a rune with 46%chance of plus 4) i recover 65 percent health per brand (two runes with 32 and 33 percent each) recover full focus when the combo gauge fills or 87% per stealth bow kill plus 50$ bow range plus 50% sword damage double charge rate for storm of urfael focus depletion reduced 50% (i run out of arrows before i do focus lol) plus 2 elf shot per execution i might be forgetting one or 2

1) Take every Uruk nearby and spam mail your death threats to everyone. 2) Find a Warchief that is bodyguarded 3) Stalk, Dominate and Command all his bodyguards to betray the Warchief. 4) Go to the Warchief mission and kill the Warchief, bodyguard 1 will get promoted to warchief. 5) Kill new Warchief 1, bodyguard 2 will be promoted to war chief. 6) Kill new Warchief 2, bodyguard 3 will be promoted to war chief. etc. Best way to get multiple epics at once. Got all the epic runes, and 100% its a pretty easy game if you're not casual like the guys at IGN - sheesh -

Not technically. More orcs appear via the orc breeding pits which reside in Mordor. I am guessing they have a "Black Speech Naming system" of some sort within the game so they don't run out of names. Not sure, but orcs don't run out.

Can someone help with a question about this game!! How do you fill up more enemies on the nemesis map? I killed a lot of captains and there's a bunch of empty spots? Also if you kill a war chief can someone else become on or once you beat one that's it? Kinda weird only being able to rather 5 epic runes if there only 5 Chiefs.

Hi! You can fill the slots by advancing time by pressing triangle on a forge tower when you have the map open. Also traveling between the sea of nurnen and udun fills up all the empty slots. If a warchief is killed, his bodyguard will take his place. If he doesnt have a bodyguard he will eventually be replaced with another orc captain once they become powerful enough

On the map if you hover over a watch tour and instead 'advance time', new captains should come into the system. As for war chiefs, I found its often captains of war chiefs that take over if they haven't already been killed but also advancing time will eventually cause a captain to take the spot. So to answer your second question, yes new war chiefs do come around:)

You can also let yourself getting killed a bunch of times, on that way you can control wich kind of enemies get on the list.

Instead of advancing time, I just interrogate the enemies and chiefs to get information on more enemies. Also sometimes when you die it'll bring in new guys that you can fight. But interrogating is easy and I recommend doing it whenever possible!

Well IGN i just walk to Mordor and kill 2 Nemeses without buying a single rune. But when i reach to Gûndza i guess (I'll check later) changed everything, i have to make the main quest to get some shadow moves, because this mofo is inmune to melee, stealth and jumps.

This game is too easy - Just get a Graug and you can insta-kill any Captain even if he has a resistance for monsters (like a Graug). I completed the game 100% in like 12 hours. Just find a Captain or Warcheifs weakness and up your sword.
