Well explained on key functions and settings, and loving the examples. I like the clean look myself but looks like a great tool for fans of the film look.

So many great images you've captured. What a cool pup, and the film grain does look more organic than the built in one I've used on FCPX. Looks like a fun plugin to play with.

The grain looks really good, much better than the DVR effect.

Definitely agree. I've never been able to get the in built grain effect in DVR to look exactly how I want.

Yeah totally fine from what I can see, you just have less room to play around with when colour grading it.

Love it. Random question, what's the difference between film grain and noise?

So film grain is texture, whereas digital noise is cased by digital artifacting. Grain is desirable and used to add depth or mood whereas compared to noise which people want to minimize as much as possible.

Yeah absolutely. You'll just have less room to play around with the lesser the quality of the footage you are using.

Interesting tool - my only gripe with plugins like this is cameras are getting sharper and cleaner all the time and all these do is basically degrade the footage to make it look older.

It is pricey but there is a Lite bundle and you can purchase some of the tools separately :)

Would i5, 16gb ram and 1660 with 6gb of vram be enough to run this well?

It depends heavily on the project ie if it's 1080 vs 4k, (also if your i5 is a recent gen or an older one) if you have a lot of other effects, the size of the project etc. From my POV you'd need much more ram and gpu vram I am using a 7800xt card with 16gb vram.
