Town of Salem is back today with some Ranked gameplay! In this video we take on the town as the forger role. Forger can actually be a very powerful mafia role, when used correctly. The most important strategy for Forger is to have wills ready for targets and use your wills to frame innocents or clear your mafia of suspicion. A good forge can save your mafia team.

yeah, granted the Jailor was a terrible player but calling him a thrower for being silent d1? It's not like the only way to play the game is to claim d1 and risk losing the only tp n1 and dying n2 cause the only tp is dead. And yes that's happened multiple times it's super easy when every game is a consistant Jailor d1 claim. Them saying Jailor claim d1 is the only way to play is like saying plasma pistol pistol (noob combo) is the only way to play halo on legendary. That's incorrect, it's the easy way to play it. You can kill elites with snipers, rockets (inefficient but effective), you can even have fun and pick up weapons like needlers or shotguns, or sticking with the good ol' ar, you can spam a dmr/carbine, stick them with plasma/sticky grenade. you can even assasinate them if you're sneaky. killed a brute captain, take his hammer and mow down the next horde of brutes. Just don't EVER use a spiker (unless you're me, I sometimes pick them up for brute shields cause why not lol) I even use the supressor in Halo 4 for knights and even elites cause if used right, it can be almost as good as the noob combo, and much more fun. Noob combo is not the only way to kill them.

I feel like you could've won that at the end. At the last day, you could've asked the NE to claim that you were his target, and then show your LO will and push hard on Samuel Sewall. If you're lucky, you could've gotten Samuel lynched which would lead to a 2v2 with you and NE. Then, all it would take is killing whoever NE's target isn't, and accept your win.

Just played a ranked game. Here’s how it went: A player literally said “Evils don’t leave or throw” before the game started N1: all 4 mafioso dc D2: ww got lynched Town Wins!

Personally, I didn't like your forger play here. Even without the medium, if any town happened to pay enough attention to know that the will said something different than what was posted on day 2, then Jonathan Corwin would immediately become sus because why else would that name suddenly appear unless forger was trying to "confirm" one of their own as town? It's highly unusual that spy would just happened to have forgotten a name when they posted it on day 2. Unfortunately, since spies always post their wills each day, I feel like forging them just isn't beneficial unless BM'er had bm'd them the day before because then forger could come up with w/e they'd like and there'd be nothing to contest it (unless there's a medium). This is kinda why Forger is my least favorite mafia role. It feels like it depends pretty heavily on the other RMs or requires situational things to occur in order to pull off anything useful. (apart from just completely erasing someone's will to withhold info)

Just played a vigi game, where I was roleblocked by an escort, and visited by a Forger. Spy found me being visited by maf while there was no maf kills. They claimed I was WW because ww killed n2. If I was WW and rb'd, how was there a WW kill? Town voted me up, not the escort who town deemed "Consort." They exe'd me, saw I was inno. Jailor jailed and exe'd the spy who found me being visited by "Consort." Next day Jailor said to report spy for gamethrowing and trolling, then left the game. Not once did they vote up the Escort who they deemed "Consort," and WW ended up winning the game. This is probably the one time Framer was actually useful. If Framer didn't visit me along with Escort, I'd of lived, Spy would live, and Jailor wouldn't of left.

Skimm, if you had immediately claimed NE, and Angie got hanged instead of you, you still won the game as long as he haunted what you told him to and you got another kill. That should've been the play the day you got hanged.

I hate how the game has devolved to the point where Jailors decide to be silent and get called a thrower and get reported for dying night 1. It's like "Oh I'm sorry for not outing as the MOST IMPORTANT TOWN ROLE! you out, night 1 only tp dies, night 2 Jailor is dead. It's not foolproof. It's stupid that people think Jailor d1'ing is the only way to play. I say anyone who calls silent Jailor a thrower should be reported for harassment. Granted terrible Jailor after they were revived but still silent Jailors hsould not be reported if they die n1 it's bad luck, everyone gets bad luck. What does need to happen is the gf getting reported.

Not at all. VFR can get evils out of their "no claim" comfort zone, which is very powerful. However, I completely agree that it's not fun. ToS games became so procedural, due to metas, that players could be easily replaced by robots and no one would probably notice.
