The fourth tip may help to hydrate but it decreases the serum's efficacy because it gets deactivated by no spf protection over it. Any serum used on the face during the day should be protected by some form of spf. This is a good addition to that particular tip! Remember, SPF is your skin's best friend! Susan Thao Cha I agree! I also mix some cacay oil in my foundation bc the Estée Lauder night repair is just too expensive to use twice a day. She does have great tips and beautiful skin though. At 44 I'm trying everything possible to keep on top of my skin. Now with vitamin c and hyaluronic acid serums available, the Estée Lauder night repair can last a bit longer. It's very good stuff.

Hi I would never ever use a pad to use my serum, I put mine into my hands and pat into my skin, ! I have used night repair for years and years I use a couple of drops mixed into my foundation, and night a leave time for my serum to be absorbed before my night cream, ! I use only my exfoliate twice a week otherwise my skin would be in bits ! I use a foil mask once a week !

You sprayed/spritzed water 9 times without the serum . You only sprayed/spritzed water 5 times with serum applied on your hand . That’s not a fair comparison.

Regarding tip #1, would you still apply your serum underneath a (cloth) facial mask? Whenever I leave the facial mask on, I treat it as the serum itself and skip my usual serum.

In your demo you sprits water onto your hand with and without the uses of the serum, amount of water sprits onto back hand was different. Really the demo is inconclusive. the first time, you over sprits water with 7pumps (or more) hence making water droplets extremely more obviously visible without the serum application. After applying serum onto your hand you then sprits only 5x. Making the demonstrated demo to be unreliable (even if it is true-idk) And inconclusive.
