Not sure if any comment mentioned this but he has an ab crunch that is part of the combiner knee joint. Also do not flip the hip flaps in leg mode - the instructions manual says to leave them and bend the knee until the purple section bends. If you flip the hip flaps out of the way they will break it was designs to keep thwm flush to his body.

Thanks for the info, but the instruction manual says absolutely nothing about a knee joint, not even the video instructions they put out make no mention of it so where did you see that exactly?

There is an extra joint built into the crotch that with the Scrapper hip joints allows greater than 90 degrees knee bend in combined mode.

Slated to finish early 2026. Fanstays have had the best release dates of any G1 cartoon company if they actually give a date. (Ethereaon/Superion and Marauder/Menasor had no official completion date from fanstoys. Superion came out in years and menasor is due in April). Xtransbots has now taken 6 years for defensor and he's only 2 bots in same as MMC- although looks like MMC will finish first). Seems scavenger is already done and hook after that.

I actually like that the heel is a separate piece. If they had tried to collapse the heel into actual transformation, it would most likely be unstable due to so much transformational hinges/panels.

I was upset at the extra combiner piece until you showed off a place to store it. Now I'm fine with it. it can't easily get lost. A missing weapon or trumpet is upsetting. But losing an integral piece is Devastating.................. :D

Yo That Leg mode is SOLID. nice use of the heel piece cause that will make the combiner way more stable then trying to balance him on scrapper's arms, plus it does accurately recreate the G1 style Leg mode, I look forward to the rest of the combiner.

They learned from Superion as that bad boy isn't very stable at all as he's way too top heavy. Well, with all the diecasts Fans Toys uses, it's always going to be heavy. This guy is way heavier than XTB Long Haul.

​@@saysoun752simply not true my Ethereaon is the most stable of all my combiners. I have zeta bruticon xtb menasor and toyworld constructor. Ethereaon is by far the most stable. Only bobby skullface had problems with his (he didn't take the time to situate the feet and put it on a super slick surface then hit it any other combiner would likelyfail in that manner). Even Emgo's wasn't an issue.

Most combiners merge their members' consciousnesses, so who has the head only contributes as much as the others. It's why most are berserkers, combined. Also, which is more likely to have attempts to majorly damage it? The component with optic sensors & vocal output or a scaffold acting as a leg? You may try to trip a leg, but you're going to want to punch the face, blind it, or rip the vocal components out. Scrapper's supposed to be one of the smarter Constructicons, if not Transformers overall, so may have considered the above, when working out combining.

@@ruski2376 Most combiners are led by a bigger Transformer. In the case of Decepticons, I think they bully the smaller members. All the Constructicons are more or less the same size (in the fiction; physics may force certain members' toys to be bigger or smaller). Remember, in the G1 cartoon, Optimus appointed Silverbolt leader. It wasn't automatic. Optimus recognized leader qualities, & wanted to temper the team's more reckless members. Optimus also wanted to distract Silverbolt from his fear of flying, by giving him responsibilities.
