here are some more details I think are useful to know about the Festival. if someone has further questions leave an anwser below. I made it into a lettered bullet-list so it is easy to reference points from there when additional discussion is needed. (A) the festival has one time, yearly, daily, weekly and repeatable achievmeents, dailys are in their own category unter "dailys", the rest is in 3 categories under festivals. additionally there are collections for the weapon skins which are found in the collections category NOT in the festival one. some achievements might require you do do a specific mode or "normal or higher". (B) in normal and infantile you can (re)join other peoples instances and will be placed at the current active checkpoint, can be used to get out, trade baubles into bubbles or vice versa etc and then come back, note: collected baubles inside the zone will reset. not possible in tribulation, if you get kicked because you get 0 lives and no continues or misclicked you have to restart all the way from the beginning. (C) the final reward, including the glitched chest for the gltiched weapon-chance, will be available for anyone inside the instance upon completion even when you joined just when the boss was about to die. completing a zone for an achievement (like "complete world 1 zone 1") will count when the timer at the end runs out which will also reward a bonus loot chest. additionally after Zone 3 in both worlds a bonus room will come up where you hit stuff to get more baubles and then get an additional loot chest shortly after timer runs out, in the bonus rooms the baubles dropped will increase if you have more players - so fill up your party before fighting the boss in zone 3 for maximum looting. (D) sporadically people will advertise groups at bosses with or without glitch or for daily achievements in normal or infantile mode in LFG, mostly found in the festival section there or sometimes under general core tyria. for that the abbreviation "SAB" in combination with or just "W101", "W102", ... "W203" are used, first number is the world and last number is the zone in that world, think of it like the word numbering in mario with "1-1", "1-2" and so on. (E) when checking out guides for things do take note of their creation date, as changes have been made over the years like the slimes beeing introduced this year (thats april 2021 for your future folks), those will obviously not be reflected/included in guides from previous years. (F) when you die with 0 remaining lives you will be teleported to "continue hell", here you have a limited time to pay for more lives with a continue coin, to do so speak with the Moto character there. he will also sell continue coins for baubles but those are more expensive in continue hell than converting them with the merchant in the lobby so use that option only if you really have to. though if you never want to worry about lives, when the SAB is live a package containing an "infinite continue coin" will usually be available in the gem store, showing that to moto in continue hell will teleport you back to the active checkpoint with 99 lives and no aditional cost (great for fiddling around in tribulation without a guide if you ar einto that like me). (G) "voiding out" aka falling down into and endless pit will teleport you to the furthest active checkpoint after giving your 1 heart of damage. similar results can be achieved with the "/gg" command, but that ones will always take a full live, use with caution (or infinite coin). it does not matter who activated the checkpoint, so those 2 ways can be used to catch up to others that are farther ahead than you. (H) you can only gather a limit amount of baubles in the zones (starting limit is 250, can be increased to 750), if you hit that you will not be able to pick up additional ones form the ground, anything that comes out of bonus chests or items in your inventorry will still be added though. (I) one of the merchants will convert baubles to bauble bubbles or continue coins and back, those conversion are loss less, use that to your advantage to keep your bauble count far enough below your limit before entering a zone. unlees you need to carry your full capacity with you to buy an upgrade inside the zone like a bigger bauble bag. (J) unlocks inside the box are character bound, so choose a character you will likely still play the next year or at least remember which one you used and keep that one around. otherwise you will have to restart with 0 upgrades/additional weapons/250 carry capacity the next time the box opens.

Yes this was super helpful! I toy around a little with SAB from year to year, but my biggest question is what’s the big loot everyone is going for? Is it just to get those weekly rewards? From my understanding you want to convert as many baubles to super baubles as you can to be able to buy the weapon skins and such, but is there any other loot or unlock I’m not seeing?

@@DrWarBear yes tribulation mode gives a lot more baubles at the final chest, there is also a chance to drop unbound kaisersnake weapon skins at the end at least in normal and tribulation mode and I think tribulation has a slightly higher chance for those (its still very small though), infantile mode gives less baubles than normal mode as well. skins and other stuff available at merchants is the main thing to go for I suppose, well besides grabbing yearly achievement points and new one time ones. the red skins require doing a lot of meta-dailys, in addition there is a repeatable achievement for doing the course work daily that rewards a chest with a choice of account bound kaisersnake (orange) skin or assasin (red) skin coins among other things. the frog king (green) and storm wizard (yellow) skins are crafted in the mystic forge with a blueprint from the weapons merchant and 3 tokens from completing all 3 zones in a world in tribulation mode (world 1 for green, world 2 for yellow) and those are always account bound so there are a bit of a prestige item (though in the early years there were ways to leech off someones tribulation instance, but that was never intended and I expect the cause for that to be removed at some point if it isnt already). blue skins can drop here and there too but are also easily bought just from the vendor for baubles. similar situation with the new upgraded red ones from the vendor once you start gathering the normal red or orange skins to unlock them. I really like the weekly merchant to grab some non SAB related goodies so I have to do less grinding with the gemstones or dungeons for example, always nice to get that covered with surplus bauble bubbles.

Hey Mukluk, been watching your content for awhile. My wife and I play and she loves your scourge "I didn't give you permission to die" build you posted awhile back. As a thanks for all the great content, I figured I would let you know something for the Super Adventure Time festival, no youtuber has covered Druberts Ghost. He's in the Rata Sum jail which can be achieved by hoping off the side of the cube, he wants continue coins 🪙, not sure what you get out of it though. I guess even Aurans won't put up with greedy ghosts lol.

Either Super Adventure Boom Box is *highly* recommended for Necromancer Players. When you use it; they'll **instantly despawn all minions**. Rather useful in group content for getting Out of Combat.

I did trib mode in all levels 6 times before I knew about taco. I installed taco later that year but not I see its outdayed, it doesn't show me the yellow lines, just green stars and some of them show you the wrong direction and can lead you into traps x_x

As a new player to this event, never seen before.. I feel like I came out of this video with more questions than I came in. What is the difference between baubles and bauble bubbles.. what are the best thing available to buy that you recommend? Are there achievements? What are the rewards? Are glitched weapons actual weapons or just weapon skins? Does any of this reward gold? Or any currency other than the baubles you pick up? There doesn't seem to be anything in here that a veteran player would go for, maybe the glitched skins? What makes this so appealing to do.? People in comments talking about infusions but you didn't mention that? How long is the event actually available to do in game? You mentioned two races you can do in the area, but nothing about what they reward? If you pause the video I can see for a split second they reward some kind of chest, what are they? ETC.

1: 250 baubles can be traded for 1 Bauble Bubble on the merchant I showed 2: there really isn't a best thing available, it is mostly cosmetic and fun items 3: yes there are achievements 4: achievement rewards are mostly baubles and a miniature 5: Glitched weapons are actual weapons, but most people use them to reskin their current weapons 6: fun for those that find it fun, or achievement hunting, or getting items to sell for gold 7: This guide is meant to be a "how to get started" there are infusions you can earn by doing the super duper difficult stuff in there, guildjen has guides on that 8: the event is usually the duration of April 9: race rewards are more baubles

3:22 - from 2024 forwards, bombs dont need baubles to activate, they are on a charge system. The tip to hold onto some baubles still holds up for other reasons imo

I refuse to use taco. it feel way too much like cheating and for a game mode build for exploration it pretty much ruins everything about it. To each their own but beating tribulation mode without taco was a rewarding experience, like beating dark souls for the first time except dying a bit more

It's one thing to do Tribulation all the way through on your own. It is another doing it 16 times to get all the King and Wizard weapon skins. I did all of them last year and I'm still feeling feeling that missed sleep.

I farmed for many hours with my friend before I found out we could use Taco. I tried using it but the icons really disturbed my visions and thankfully my friend didn't want to use Taco too because he wanted it to be more fun so now we kinda race with each other who gets to the checkpoint first xD

Iirc Farm world 1, each zone, 16 times (can check The King Toad achievement) in *tribulation mode* . Every time you finish a zone you get a coin so use those 16 coins; zone 1 2 3 coins + a weapon design (I think the skin design called moto something) to unlock the skin weapon

So in the end when you unlock all 16 items you'd get the chest of the infusion from the achievement I'd recommend you to try get a hang of double jump or "dodge" jump (by pressing space + V in same time) because in zone 2 there are 2 checkpoints where the jump really helps you to avoid stone aoe I just watch any video guides about the zones in tribulation mode and it took couple of tries to remember the routes and the traps. If you plan to get the infusion, take your time learning the map. I assure you once you have die more than enough you will develop muscle memory

Oh also, P.S; You can't join or rejoin (if you're in party) in tribulation mode once you use up all your live. You need the "continue coin" to continue or else you'll need to restart everything. If you don't mind spend real money or you have hundreds of golds to exchange to gems, buy the SAB package. Inside it has the infinity continue coin so you wouldn't need to worry about dying. Well except time I think because, other than trying to beat the zone, you'd have to farm baubles to buy continue coin if you don't have the "p2w" coin

Hate this festival, the usual festival grind is dreadful, but at least is pretty straightforward, not on this one, this is hell, specially tribulation. Here's a tip: don't bother buying health or lives in the shop, in the hub a continue coin costs 10 baubles, which means 2 baubles per life, better deal than 20 baubles for a life inside shops or the ridiculous 25 baubles for 2 health points

Please don't compare Taco to Mesmers. D: I have a Mesmer I barely play, yet still use to try and help people with portals. However, even after downloading and installing Taco twice on two separate occasions, I immediately uninstalled and deleted it before even using it at all for anything because it felt so overpowered just having it on the screen. Also with ArenaNet's not exactly 100% on board with allowing it due to reasons and the risks if they ever changed their stance for some reason. I think they said, "if you ever question if something is ok or allowed," like an add-on, "then it's probably not a good idea." In the sense of if it feels like a really bad idea and you have doubts so it's maybe on the line or maybe crossing it.

After doing Trib runs 16 times for the infusions.. This holiday needs to be removed and fixed. Its an embarrassment to Anet to keep this broken mess in the game. Horrible AI/chaning hitboxes/bad design.. It's just a mess. And these problems have been in SAB for 10 years now, with 0 fixes.

This has to be the most useless event!!!! All the rewards you can get are useless!!The cosmetic stuff is hideous and way too retro and pixelated!!!! Hideous!!!! This festival is crap. I always hated it. Bad designing. Too much far away from GW2 Lore. To much pixel perfect & hidden stuff. Race are crap. The reward are crap. Not worth the time played on it.

IF YOU MULTIBOX! = Please send some toons to bitterfrost where you can quickly farm max super loot bags on 2-3 accounts during the meta! The more people maximizing super loot bags the cheaper hardlight skins will be. ...I just want the skins ;)
