Hi, one question sir, Im three year without period because afters my last child delivery through cessarea I have been using IUD Mirena, the gynecologist told me it was completly natural, that it happens to many woman, but its that normal ? Im 28 year old and from this last pregnancy Im taking medicine for thyroid problem, which hasn't been propper controled yet as every three months I get the dose changed, my partner and I were planning a new pregnancy for last of this year. I don't recommend birth control of any kind after a pregnancy. No real reason for it. I do think you may need to find a different physician to help you control your thyroid better.

Help. My period used to be always on day 26 with period at 4 days, light to medium flow. As of Feb my period was 10 days with 7 days super heavy flow... then didnt get it again until 40 days later... and again heavy for 7 days! Went to gyno and he said "it happens, just keep an eye on it for next periods".... and my bloodwork shows low testosterone at 7 and low progesterone..... so what should I do??? Buy testosterone pills???

Eat sweet potatoes. They increase testosterone production. You can also weightlift. I'd recommend organic. If that doesn't help, then get on a low dose T.

My periods are very irregular. One time I didn’t have it for 8 months. I thought it was due to my hypothyroidism but my doctor said my levels were fine. My doctor said my hormones are depleted due to POF and the only thing they can offer me is to go on the pill for my hormones and to prevent osteoporosis. Are there other ways to get the hormones I need without going on the pill? I feel so confused and I want to know if having a baby is possible for me without going the donor egg route. I feel so hopeless💔

get a good thyroid specialist. my numbers for thyroid was text book perfect until the thyroid antibodies test came back. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease. He said thyroid levels in my case are not normal based on my symptoms and tge antibodies. I stopped eating gluten completely and started NP thyroid a natural form of thyroid medication lost 65 pounds. I reviewed my previous labs when I was going through my previous IVF cycle and was shocked to see that my TSH was so off and tge doctor should have caught this. maybe my fertility treatments would have better outcomes

My doctor gave me progesterone to take last month for 12 days got a period or started bleeding very lite and nothing this month I believe I should not have to keep taking these progesterone pills every month or do I need to to get back a normal period what do you think

Hello 👋 Dr. I hope you see this comment one day. I haven't seen my period in 2 years and counting. I'm 35 now in 2024. After having fribroids removed, I was injected with a birth control to stop the period, however it never cam back. I did a hormones test - Fsh-152.8 range 4.5-11.0 Lh-54.3 range 1.7-13.3 Prolactin-5.2 range 4.5-28.9 I'm going through menopause at my age, I have no children, I desperately want. I was on the verge of suicide, I was on suicide watch for a year. I'm now trying to get out of that dark place. If you have any advice on how to get back my period I would be grateful 🙏. Or anyone ready this can help pls do.😢

I need to purchase this book! I haven’t had a period in over 3 years we want to have a child, i just turned 31, I have pcos and so many other health conditions and feel somewhat hopeless, I stopped going to my Obgyn because I feel like I’ve just given up after seeing so many doctors and so many have stopped trying to connect the dots and I have been on the highest dosages of progesterone for over 3 years still no period😢 and I know how important it is to have monthly cycles, I am a nurse so I’m educated.. I am just at the point where I have given up. I am planning to have weight loss surgery soon and hoping that will help some. It’s definitely a viscous cycle for me. I love how she said a woman’s cycle is to be included as another vital sign so true! What is so weird to me though is every month when I should start, I have a lot of symptoms, but it never comes which is weird to me. I need to go see an reproductive endocrinologist soon and also be more vigilant with increasing my intake of green leafy veggies bc I know GI is huge with our hormones and I have Crohns as well. I have always had normal 28 day cycles with 6 day periods. Wanting to ttc for baby #3 but my periods still haven't returned 16 months postpartum. My toddler still nurses 3-4 times in a 24 hour period. Any fertility advice besides weaning? I nursed my first until 23 months and my cycle returned at 13 months postpartum so wondering why it hasn't arrived yet. I also conceived baby #2 while still nursing #1 so I didn't think I'd have to wean to conceive this time.
